Looks like Comm settled a city. Assuming he roaded all the way, it's between 3 to 6 tiles from where we first spotted his settler

Ok guys, lots to think about here. First, we met Azza:
That's a pretty good north neighbor to meet. I mean, it is Napoleon of Rome, but what I mean is - being sandwiched between Commodore and Plako sounds like the worst thing ever, and thankfully we don't have that going on here. He has 3 cities also:
I'm going to go ahead and vote we offer a map trade immediately. I think it'd be good to have him as a friend with Commodore being fairly hostile to us right now.
On the war front, we have this option:
I really don't think we should take it. I'd vote for W-W with this Impi to keep on the pressure and force his warrior to cross flat ground and/or his chariot to ditch his warrior and expose itself. More importantly, here's this:
Commodore - THIS is how you plant a fairly nice and yet aggressive spot. Couple foods, water access, riverside tiles, forests... Solid plant. Why he wandered another 3 tiles towards us is a mystery I'll never understand. Anyways, I don't think he plants this spot with only a warrior, so he's got something else. If that something else is an axe, that'll suck. I really doubt it though - no sign of that on the power graph. An archer is possible - maybe he just got archery and he's chopping one out - hard to say. Either way, I think our best best here is W-W. Or actually, SW-NW is probably a little bit better.
Thoughts?

Ok, more things. I chatted with NH briefly, and I went ahead and offered Azza:
Hopefully we can defog a route with him and get Alphabet for routes. Anyways, Noble made this alternative suggestion:
This lets us see what is in the city without exposing us to an axe if he has one. The only risk is it allows him to place a unit 1S of that and block our shot at the city on the following turn. Here's his power graph:
I also shifted EPs over to Azza.

Pindicator - I'm in favor of going with NH's suggestion. Let me know if this is good with you and I'll do it (still 18h left on the timer so no rush)
edit: We'll obviously go W first, and if we see something that makes us change our mind, we'll react accordingly

I think NH's suggestion is right.

Ok, done:
Nothing unusual. So I stick with the plan:
And there's confirmation of an archer. So this is not a situation where we're taking this city, which is actually perfectly fine with me.

If we take that city we can rename it after some franchise where pink is a prominent color.
