I believe that they told us we were safe to make that move. If we're lucky, the German team will play sometime today and we'll be able to move onto the new turn, and then I'll have the decision to make with our scout.
This is what was said.

Yossarian Wrote:Hi Scooter,
On T80, there was a barb warrior 4 east 1 south of your scout's location. If it moved into our borders as we were assuming it would, then you should be safe. If it moved west or southwest, then it would be adjacent to the hill you would like to move onto. I will ask our turnplayer to check that for you when he logs in.
Sorry about the delay in our reply. I'll see where we are with a formal message to your team.

Since we'll be moving on T82 and not T81, I'm assuming that we'll be safe. Barb AI behavior almost always has them move towards human-controlled cities and units. It would be very surprising if a barb warrior sat out in the wilderness instead of moving towards the CFC city. Still, would be nice to hear firsthand if we could catch one of their players on chat.

If we don't hear we should just be cautious imo. Not worth losing the scout over a few tiles revealed.

Noticed this in the mod page:
Quote:81 Lysander (Great General) has been born in a far away land!
Is that from the German-WPC war?

if the mod page is to be believed, WPC's power fell by 30k, so I wouldnt doubt it is a result of that war.

Yeah, to be honest I'm not sure what's up with Caledorn or why he's so hard to reach (or why CFC has been so sloooow officially responding to us). I may have to see if I can get Yossarian added to gchat or something.

I did send another message to Yossarian to see if I could get confirmation that the scout is good to move onto the plains hill. I'm expecting we're fine if his last message was true, but it would be nice to be 100% sure. Once the turn rolls, might be worth holding off on moving that scout until we get the confirmation.

No problem, will leave the scout unmoved for another day or so unless we get word from CFC.

Red is where CFC said the barb was during T80.
Yellow indicated possible location of barb right now (i..e during T81).
Cyan, the tiles the barb could move onto eot81 (i.e. T82).
I would say, confirm with CFC where the barb is now, before committing the scout to the hill tile.
