[spoilers] Commodore: Worse than Toku, it's Giggles of Siam!

Given the looks of what we can do undetected a 10xp, 4 move galley is enough to do the needful. We'd need a 6 move galley to hit their capital from the fog.
And a 4 move galley with a CR3 Axe + smthing is a pretty sexy beast as well.

Aha! That would be pretty sweet. I didn't know about nav2 and I also didn't know that morale could be used on a ship ... I've heard of attaching GGs to boats before but never atually done so myself. Your ship could be launched completely out of the fog from NW of the sheep!
Agreed about the fast galley, but would we rather field a 2-move shock axe on the front and just put two vanilla axes into Reg "Oar" Rarr?

I think my answer would be we need the mobile axe. Team Scoopin made themselves a monster. I don't think we're going to see much motion here, sadly, although maybe with another axis of advance we can kick it up a notch. The planned pink dot city is marked here; also marked? A friendly barb city SITTING ON THE COPPER. So yeah, barb axes incoming, I think.
Making the settler for that pink dot will be Hidden Valley, although its first mission is to make another archer. I thought about the suggested spear, but covering a hill city, a Pro archer is as good as a spear against a chariot, and better against everything else...plus, The Monster has shock. So, archer, settler, then work boat. Our own monster is in the making. The galley is swiftly journeying to meet our general and an axe here. Mechanics question! Can I load the GG and axe onto the galley, and then merge the GG axe to get a shock/morale axe and a Nav2 galley? Your signs were good, but alas, we're a little short on workers for all that needs to be done, as you can see, we've sent a fair few east. Still, we can cottage something for VA to grow on (cottage sign) and then she'll 2-pop whip the worker in her queue now. That plus the worker being slowbuilt by TM ought to see us with enough to improve the core, grow north, and support the front. Why are the workers moving right now? Well, we have a fort deadline here, people! With the GG merged aboard the galley, the resultant four-mover is going to be zooming along to blast apart Zaxby's. And, yeah, fork Long John's and McD's. And pillage/blockade the four seafood in the area. Yeah, we need that to happen. Our score did tick upward nicely, because check out who we just settled. Our gpt ticked upwards very satisfyingly, and the city herself is no slouch. I'll net the fish next turn, the chop will finish the granary in three turns, and then the avoid growth trick will not only fill the food box perfectly, the extra turn's delay means we'll have our pasture ready when its time to hit size two. This is another Moai candidate, here or Willowbrooke. Alternately, we could always push an early library there to manage a second GS, if such a thing could be useful.

I've always wondered about this, which unit gets the priority for the Great General? Is it random (and Greywolf just happened to roll the axe that turn), or does the land unit take priority?
