Zakalwe is village IMO. His case on Tasunke is so contrived. Why isn't he screaming bloody murder for outrageous lurking, if he really wants Tasunke to hang?

Why indeed? That's actually the biggest argument for his innocence right now. But, as with vig-Lewwyn a couple WWs ago, I think after a certain town kill-count you should just claim your game as "successful scum".
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.

Agreed that Zakalwe is acting very out-of-character with Taskune, and the most obvious answer is that he's trying to protect him. But if he -is- the assassin, Zak has probably got things pretty worked out by now and is just running down the clock to make sure nothing untoward springs up before he takes out Taskune.

No, if he's the assassin and thinks he has things figured out, he should push the king as hard as he can and watch the guards freak out, for confirmation.
