Actually, Azza's comments seemed perfectly within character for him, at least from my level of observation of his play from the cheap seats.

I actually thought the three quick rebuttals from Bigger, Gaius and Brick seemed more defensive. I'll give Brick a pass, since he just GM'd a game.

Personally, I think given the way the game was set up we shouldn't read too much into the roles but its probably impossible for uber to have not let a little bit of bias seep in. I don't want 40 pages of debating it though, so I'm happy to work off the assumption that the roles don't tell us too much.

Probably more pertinently that the players whose characters are from the same game have some link - i.e. the two cats in the last version of this game. So Rowain-Molach and Jkaen-Ichabod are probably associated somehow. Wouldn't be surprised to see uber give them the one good/one bad treatment. Anyway, not a lot to go on so far and still think Tasunke seems extra-jittery. Novice, I thought his comment to zakalwe was a little joke based on the fact that someone basically says that to zak every game. Meiz, I'd expect you to pick up on that.

Trying too hard. The one good, one bad thing is also nonsense, and we just went over that.

There's not much to go on at the moment. I'd say Gaspar and Matt are villagers, since they were unsure who we're hunting for, and it doesn't state that in town pm. Villains could not be sure if the town were told who exactly they are hunting.

Serdoa hasnt talked yet which is really intresting. I am going to throw a vote at the no lynch option . Doesnt make sense in my mind to waste a town kill. I remmber also reading in the last games scum thread asking for no lynch to help them evade dodging. Vote tells are extremely important and I dont like giving them a free pass with that. I will get you later mr Werewolf. flug_auto also wouldnt village Serdoa be jumping on people already :P?

He stood in the shadows, untypical quiet for him. Since hours he had not changed his position, his feet covered in high boots not moving even a slight bit. His normally in all colors shining cape was dark black and barely visible at all. His wide-brimmed hat was decorated with a big feather, and it was the soft movement of this feather that indicated to a keen observer that he was still awake, looking around, gathering all the information possible, be it about the room he was in or about the people he was in there with. The other "heroes" as he had been told. He had to grin. Hero... he could not remember that he had ever been called that. Murderer, Criminal or Thief was more like it. Manipulator... Villain. But Hero? That was a new one. One that would maybe open up new possibilities. But for that he would have to step forward. And so - he did. His cape changed his color as he came out of the shadows, lightening up in red and blue, yellow and green, purple and orange and all other colors visible to the human eye. The sound of his boots became louder with every step he took, till even the most ignorant of those gathered with him here could not resist but had to look in his direction, in search for the reason of this unexpected interruption of their dealings. He raised his head, showing an eye patch on his left eye and while everyone still was distracted he started to clap his hands.

My my, what do we have here? So many "heroes".

The last word came out with a hard connotation, hardly disguising his dislike for this word - or maybe for the people he attributed it to.

He spit out after his last word, not in the slightest concealing his dislike for this word anymore.

Following this discussion since hours, it seems that some of you try to lead us to our doom. Some of you might be more interested in getting your greedy fingers on the vault than to save the universe. Some of you...

Loud voices raised in the room. Everyone screamed, explaining that he was a true hero, willing to sacrifice everything to save the universe. Swords were unsheated, Crossbows loaded and pointed. Chaos was nearly inevitable. A last shove in the right direction and this room would explode like a powder keg. But that was not what he intended - not this time. With a loud voice, louder than it seemed physically feasible for a man like him, he brought silence back to the room.

My friends! Don't let fear to your heart. Don't let chaos overwhelm you. We WILL find the culprits and we will make them suffer for their greedyness. Look at this Korgan.

He glared to Korgan, pinning him down with just his look. How much was true fear and how much just amazement over his impudence to call him out like this, Jarlaxle couldn't say.

He is trying to divert you. He is trying to make you fear the others. He. Is. CHAOS. HIMSELF! I say hang him, hang Korgan

The room erupted in discussions, but this time they were focussing on Korgan. For a time at least. Good enough for him. He turned around, heading back in the shadows, a smile on his face that no one could see. A smile that faded, every step he took. He might not be a hero, but he be damned if he let this world be destroyed. After all, this world would certainly offer ... business opportunities. He pushed away the thoughts on the empress and how she reminded him - of another life. As he reached the shadows he welcomed them. As dark as they were, they still appeared to him as bright as sunlight in comparison to his soul.

[ooc]I do believe that Meiz attack on novice - and especially his overreaction when questioned about it - is the best lead we have right now for a non-town aligned player. The second best seems zakalwe to me right now, as he claims to have been told who we fight against and this is certainly not true for me and as it seems for a few others as well. But that might indeed be an error by uberfish that I hope to get sorted out if it is so. I also hope we will be told sometimes why exactly we do vote for each other - the story didn't tell me why we do not simply travel all together to the vault [/ooc]
