No way a granary is worth it. The calculation for whether anarchy is worth it is easy though - are the hammers and food we're making from WC worth the 8 gold we'd save from anarchy? If so, revolt. If not, then don't. That's assuming Slavery is the same upkeep as whatever the default is - if we save on upkeep then that needs to be part of the calculation too. I think Slavery is Medium? I forget.

6f +1h > 8g in a vaccuum, but i'm thinking if we do the anarchy now it lets us do it again in 5t.
Guess its the same as begging 10g and not revolting

Slavery is medium, not low.

Not the greatest news. That's an extra turn's warning for them to whip things.

By the way, here was my attempt at being clever:

Basically, they'll login and just see the trade screen. "Oh, we met Zulu!" They have at least one city out there that we haven't located yet. If they accept the map trade, we get up-to-date conquest maps. Then they close the diplo window to see the oncoming barbarian horde by ocean. Should be fun. I'm mainly looking forward to seeing their login on Civstats and then a flurry of posts in their thread.

Oh, how do they only have 8 cities?!?! Commodore has 12. Yes he got a few from us, but he's also built like 8 settlers worth of military more than India probably has, so... I dunno, I just figured they'd be a lot further by now in SimCity land.

It's a new Indian city on the corn peninsula. It wasn't there recently (borders are not popped). This means we have contact, so they get to see us a turn too early. So they get an extra turn of whipping, essentially. That's bad, and it's going to cost us - particularly at IW where we were sort of banking on walking in on them more or less. We'll see what happens.

There is a bare worker on the corn, but it's not worth sniping him since that gives us one less 2-mover. We can just grab that city in wave 2.
