You don't understand how that ability works I think. I exchange them. EVERY action targetted at novice will happen to Meiz (like a wolf-kill or in case there is any protection) while every action targeted at Meiz happens to novice. Do you tell me you expected that the wolves would kill Meiz? Because I sure didn't think that. If anyone protected novice he instead protected Meiz. If anyone wanted to kill novice, he would kill instead Meiz. If anyone watched novice, he instead watched Meiz.

Ask uberfish? I mean honestly, what do you expect me to answer and how does that help in any way to decide anything? It was not my decision to have it, so I can't tell you why uberfish thought it fit. And if you believe I lie, I can't help you. This would be so dumb that I simply refuse to believe that anyone thinks I would come up with that story when I am considered widely as villager. Honestly Rowain, think before you ask ok?
Rowain Wrote:Why did you exchange novice with Meiz and not with Ichabod?
Because I sat there yesterday at 2245 and thought about if I want to use it or not. Especially because of other village protection roles. And decided that I would use it, telling myself that either we don't have any and I will save the one certain villager we have or we have some and the wolf kill will fail anyway. And on Meiz, because I suspect him since Day1. Go back and reread my posts if you don't believe that. Now why Meiz and not Ichabod? Because I came around to doubt my own read on him. Again, go back, read my posts. It should be obvious that I want him to contribute, not to lynch him over all else. I know, it is hard to believe because everyone tells the fairy story of me always having tunnel-vision but thats not my fault.

Because I suspected you. I had not even thought about that in case you are a villager you might be a wolf-target as well, because of your day-kill-ability.

How will that help us? If Azza flips village you know nothing. And if he flips scum you still don't know if Bigger is not the SK (which both villager and wolf would want to lynch) nor if Ichabod is village (Azza is known for going for his scum-buddies if he feels they deserve it). So no, lynching Azza will help us not at all imo.
I really don't like your post. It seems to be much more about having someone else for Gazglum to duel and much less about actually hunting scum. I'm already wary of you and that Ichabod brings up your name but in the end is never following it up. But worse than the part above is this one:
Well, the reason I went after Azza, is that I've been having strong suspicions about him for a while, but I haven't put any forward cause of lack of evidence. I felt today like there was enough there to at least warrant a look, sorry that you don't feel otherwise. I'm sure there's other scum we can look for, I'll back off him for now.

1) Ichabod actually just being silly trolly town, or
2) People defending Ichabod and lynching you anyways.
So, there is no chance in your opinion that Ichabod is scum. None at all? Really? If you don't have a scan result, I really don't see how you can come to that conclusion. And I am the one being told he has tunnel vision...
Honestly, that wasn't as much an "Oh, Ichabod isn't scum!", it was more exasperation at the game, and Murphy's Law is gonna make that matchup turn out badly.

This confuses me, it sounds as if you tried to use your one-time ability night one, but it was blocked in a way that wasn't jailed?

If they tried to kill me, not sure if Pind-wolf would have prepared / posted case against me. Just guessing, but maybe Mattimeo is better target first.
Serdoa, I still shot a wolf, so it couldn't be that big of a surprise... But it's done.

Meiz, you jot went from targeting Pindicator to jumping on Pindicator's target. What's that about?

I did understand how it works but did you think that scum might have the same/similar power I had in WW10?
Quote:Face Your Fear - You can teach another player the spirit of courage. The next night action they take will succeed regardless of any other players' actions. This ability takes precedence over all other abilities.
That is an example how scum could have killed novice anyway but others could have watched. BTW WW10 was the first "chose your char"- game (then with cats and ducks and other animals) = the father of this one.

Don't get up in arms. Judging by my PM (and novices) uberfish gave some reason why you have this ability and yes I would like to know that reason.

Again No need to go up in arms ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) . I was interested on your answer and I think I rather believe you.
But do understand that I as not knowing your alignement must take in consideration that this is a ploy by you and Meiz to give you 2 superb cover. And given your love to high risk play you would be the one to do such a thing. But overall I rather bet that you are a honest villager here.

@Serdoa:
I agree with BRick here and I would like to know whom you tried to exchange on night 1. I got the impression you targetted zak then so why was there no switch?

And to elaborate more on the point of Scum powering through the exchange:
uberfish games are well balanced.
uberfish spent a lot of time in balancing this game
we have a villager who can call in the GM to confirm his innocence beyond doubt without any "this role looks to be too good to be true" and other nonsense.
Do you really believe we get such a villager without the scum getting enough firepower to kill said villager? What kind of balance would that be?
But your exchange does deliever another possible reason why there was no second kill.
