As an aside, here's a little chat-with-Krill excerpt, talking about settings (Krill just mentioned the possibility of deity barbs alongside scout starts, and I said people usually vote barbs down):

Any consensus concernig the map yet? Seems like most have preference for natural but fair map based on spoiler threads (You're not making it easy for me). If that is the case, I probably could start. Bevare that it is nearly imbossible mission to have a natural look and feel map that would also be fair in all respects.

Got to second Krill though on this one. You never know what the majority will vote on and certain combinations of settings will result in a less then fun game.

(Although I remember PB3 not because of the strange settings, but the time sink of 17 players and diplo on)

So I'll start map assuming everything else default but these (most relevant settings for map making):
* Lakes script, circumnav not available, wrap Cylinder
* Natural and not mirrored, but fair
* Difficulty Immortal or Deity
* No banned wonders (Only GLH availability is affecting more than little to map making)
* WEs banned
* Barbarians off
* Scout start

Naturally these are also taken into account:
Sequential team turns pitboss, ancient start, no vassal states, no goody huts, no random events, no tech trading, no communication with other teams. Trades with other teams allowed IF we don't choose always war.
