I think Mardoc should roll for every "missing" roll needed. I'll probably forget to do a lot of the rolls in my plays due to lack of knowledge of the rules. This way, we don't get delays after everyone already posted their desired actions.

Edit: or make every missed roll a 1. I bet there'll be way less missed rolls that way. lol

One thing I just thought of: Damage

Normal sequence of events is:
(player) roll to hit
(GM) confirm hit
(player) roll damage
And knowing how much damage you've dealt can at time be quite useful.

The time required for back and forth like that might not be feasible in all instances, though.
Options:
a) Roll damage at the time of the attack, with it only being applied if the attack hits.
b) Roll damage after hit confirmation if you're around, else Mardoc does it at round conclusion (and tells us what the roll was)
c) Mardoc rolls all damage. Option here as to whether we're informed or not.

I'd prefer option b (I like rolling dice), but don't really mind as long as we don't cause any delays to the round pace.

Interesting.

To be fair though, I rolled the damage only after rolling both my attacks, and I didn't make any rolls until I posted in-thread.

But, at the same time, I can see how it might affect other player's actions.

For the sake of convenience, I will continue on as I have been until told otherwise.

For the time being, let's go with this one:

Can reconsider if you guys get cheesy about it, but I think that would do the most for the pace.

Man I gots all sorts a jokes for levitating and shooting arrows. Pulling a Morrowind, look at me I'm Peter Pan, Predator drone... Pretty much the ideal scenario for the spells I prepared. lol

Isn't there a limit to how high you can levitate? You might as well be flying at this point.

Flying allows lateral movement; levitate does not, of itself.

Current limit (I believe): 30ft x 3min / 0.1min/round = 900 ft. (if you have other means of descending safely, and you're just trying to get as high as possible)

There are non-magical ways to do that as well.

I have to admit that part of me wanted to see the little mage get clubbed like a fly by the ogre.
