Chatted a bit with WPC while I was logged in at the start of the game. The gist of it is they say yes to the missionary, and are interested in more missionaries and paying with highly promoted archers.

Giving them a second missionary so that they adopt Hinduism over Buddhism would be OK. Archers are not a good trade though.

More missionaries are easy to do. I'll incorporate some extra ones into the micro plan going forward. We had one literally sitting in place last turn, waiting for WPC to agree to the religion. Adding a few more are fine.
I'm happy with simply sending the missionaries for free, since every extra city benefits us a lot with that shrine. If they feel like giving us something in return though, we want gold, not their units. Even something as minor as 25g for a missionary would be nice. But it might be even better to send the missionaries as free gifts to build up goodwill.

If we sold two missionaries for 50g total, does that even net us one turn of full research? If so, might be worth it with the GAge coming.
