I think we just want the central area fillers at this point (Settler in Bitter was just a placeholder until I got to change it to missionary so no hammers invested there). Eastern filler might be better off not settled at all. It would be another city in the frontlines we need to defend and there will be heavy cultural pressure from TEAM's stone city. Better to lay down the 2 cities near our core. Just grow them ASAP to 6 and get good cities for Drafting.

Besides, we might want to settle the one-tile iron island too at some point, if we lose our international trade routes (i.e. war).

![]() Minor suggestion for the worker on the 2chop tile above. Instead of going to cottage for Ramune, it could go 1N and prechop that forest. The filler city on the 2chop tile will be settled around T134, and worker turns to chop its granary might be hard to come by, since we're about to chop the Taj then. After prechopping, the worker can make its way around the lake back to Deerslayer. I think Ramune can do without that cottage for now; it's about to pop another ring of culture and may well steal the deer before growing, and as a fallback it can work a scientist. (I think we'll eventually pop a GP from Ramune, because it has a lot of base GPPs, and soon three food resources all to itself.)
If you know what I mean.
Ok- prechopping makes sense. Concerning Ramune I've been considering if we should work some Artists there to get to 60% faster and claim the Deer probably a bit sooner. We should be able to keep it at least until their cities start hitting 60%
Actually... that made think. Why should Ramune have three foods all to itself? Why not settle three filler cities, like this:
A shares wheat with Ramune and cows with Bitter, B shares sheep with BM, and C shares Cows with BM. A and B each get a forest for their granary. (Maybe get the Taj failgold from somewhere other than BM then? Salty Dog could do a worker whip. If so, perhaps reroute the missionaries.)

We should be able to keep it at least until their cities start hitting 60% Once we get the deer, we will surely never lose it. It's in the second ring for both of us, and we've got massive culture output in Ramune. I think the next ring pops in two turns, so speeding that up with artists probably isn't worthwhile.

So the most useful whips to do would probably be missionaries. That's also very easy to set up. Just spread religion to two small cities (small so we don't waste so much food on the whips) and put 9 hammers into missionaries as soon as we are in OR. Two-pop whip them on T133 and T134, respectively, overflowing into Taj on T134 and T135. Mai-Tai and Salty Dog are probably the best candidates for this.

I thought Mai-Tai was supposed to build the wonder? Why is it building failgold now?

Deerslayer is building the wonder, with five chops.
![]() Mai-Tai can put two chops and a whip into failgold. BM was going to put settler overflow plus a chop into failgold. But if we're saving that forest then a whip in Salty Dog would be better. That's if people like the idea of three filler cities. We could stick with two filler cities as well, I'm open to both alternatives.
