Are you sure Commodore isn't giving his stone to someone? Could be someone we haven't met.
I don't think we should put hammers into GW until we get stone from somewhere. I'm all for it after that though.
I don't think we should make contact with slowcheetah until we really need to. And if we start settling towards him I think we should decline map trades for a while. Although that means we won't see his new cities either...humph.

Azza countered:
It's a little steep IMO, but then again I decided we owed Azza one for the cheap gold he's given us for the last 50 or so turns. I don't think any of our cities are going to hit their happy cap within 10 turns, and when they do we can cancel this deal or renegotiate / sign a different one with Serdoa. So I took the trade
As for Commodore's stone, it isn't even hooked up. Look at it on the map when you duck in next, Noble

I logged in and was forced to select a build for JJ, so I selected a forge. Might want to change that.

Played the turn, and it was pretty uneventful.
We spread religion to 5 Guys. Then with the bonus due to Org Rel I was able to whip the city's granary.
Need to have a galley ready in 10 turns to explore east, preferably with a settler and worker.
Found where I screwed up the plan
Well, I didn't really - but when I said that we couldn't speed up the Great Person I was wrong. If we would have started the forge last turn and whipped it this turn (149), we could have ran a priest and eng on 150, which would have been 3 turns quicker than the plan and gotten us a GP a turn faster.
But I don't think that'd be worth it, because we'd have to entirely kill our growth at Sid's Sushi - we'd be size 3 running 2 specialists.
Anyway, we should swap Sid's to a forge next turn
Research set to Code of Laws. We might be able to get that in 3 turns, definitely in 4.

Looking good all over - stone trade looks good. I'll pop into the game later tonight.

The big news of the turn:
1) I'm guessing the war declaration has to do with Serdoa's capture of Angle. Wondered if Commodore would let that stand.
2) We passed Xenu in score! Next up, Brick & Yuri.
Another uneventful turn. Let's start with the south first:
Got another fun surprise to see the grass mine at Culvers was already 2T from completion. I also swapped Sids to a forge as planned. Here's the north:
Ok, so I'm thinking with Dominos, once we get to sz4 and both of those hills mined, lets work them both and start getting hammers into Moai while we have stone. Thoughts on that? We can hand over some of the other tiles to TGIF when that happens.

The war declaration isn't actually in the screenshot...

I actually blinked a few times and thought it was some sort of joke about Hinduism spreading to Boston Market. Seriously.
