Thanks for bringing the tech discussion here - I would have never seen it buried in the C&D post.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I have a strong suspicion that CFC built Moai statues in the former barbarian city of Bono (the city south of Lakshmi) on T116. Can we send Mostly Harmless over there next?
ETA: Belay that request. CFC researched Code of Laws on T116 (with lots of overflow and multipliers), and this also fits with the pop growth and claimed land. Getting visibility on the city of Bono will still be interesting (lots of forests in it, and likely coastal), but not as critical as I thought.

Moai is easy to check as long as we can see the city, just need to check the tile yields.
Edit: I guess we can't see that city or else you'd already know it by inspecting the buildings. So never mind.

Yeah, we have vision on 11 out of 12 CFC cities. I'll do what I can to reveal the last one soonish.
I went ahead and followed the tile micro suggestions from earlier in the thread. I checked and taking the silks over the grassland hill mine won't delay Heroic Epic at all in Horse Feathers (we ended up with 205/200 production, and now we'll end up at 201/200, no worries). There was no effect on Great Lighthouse finishing date either in Gourmet Menu.
I did not have time to do any planning today, will try to devote some time tomorrow to simming out the Golden Age in more detail.

Reducing hammers in the HE city now directly reduces twice as many hammers into units. The 4 extra overflow from HE is worth 8h into a unit.
It's pretty much irrelevant whether we finish HE on any given turn*, as long as we aren't overflowing more than the cap. The effect is simply, hammers we produce in that city beyond the next 100 are doubled. So the choice from tile selection this turn is between 4h into a barracks-enhanced unit, or 5g. I'd rather have the hammers.
Sorry I didn't post my opinion earlier. I had misread other posts and thought everyone else was voting for the mine already.
*The difference is that finishing it 1t earlier gives us +1gpp and +4 (?) culture, which we don't really care about in HF.

Sullla moved our W2 warrior too, but now he's stuck
Anyone with good mapping skills who is able to work out where CivPlayers have some of their cities? I think we can assume their starting setter was located approximately in a mirrored version of Indira, it was put 18W 6S of Adventure One (on the same row as Seven Tribes), though of course they moved it the first turn.
I also think we should look at exploring the southwest of Seven Tribes, and not let CivPlayers claim all of it at their leisure, especially since they are blocked to the east by CivFr. So I think we should set FP to churn out some WCs after it has finished its barracks. We can use some more MP units and scouts.

I'm open to working either tile in Horse Feathers, once we have some kind of consensus on the issue. Feel free to battle it out in the comments here. (And in the end, it's not that big of a deal either way.)

Hmm, our 'stuck Axe' can still explore towards the north or south if we can't arrange OB with the French but we'll probably want to arrange that with CivPlayers in advance. Relations are fragile enough as is.
Personally I would prefer south of the two and have him defog what looks to be the southern coastline to the tiles SW of Seven Tribes.
