Is there something wierd with your computer graphics?
I don't know what it is, but they look...odd.

What buildings did the city have?
If you're keeping a tally you should include that, the pop, and the price of the settler.

They look normal to me ... could you try and elaborate? I don't play on the highest graphics setting 'cause my computer's old, and I turned off resource bubbles for those shots so as not to clutter them up. Maybe one of those made them look weird?

Thessalonica had but a courthouse (I posted the city screenshot so people could see). By the way, can I just say I hate how you can't see when you capture a city how much it's going to cost you in maintenance? Blargh!

Good point on the tally. So it's:

THH - 0 hammers
Serdoa - 1 catapult, city of Thessalonica (2 pop, courthouse) - 178 hammers

Psst, the city likely had more then a courthouse (some buildings get destroyed on capture).

I dunno....your minimap looks real dark for example.

Ah, yes, I'm sure the city did have many more buildings before I captured it. So in future you'd like me to peer at the city graphics to see what buildings it has before taking it? I can do that; I just didn't think of it here. I can't really tell looking at my screenshots last page either ... let's see, it probably had a monument, though, since it's borders had expanded but it had no religion (and he can't have run a specialist). It probably had a granary, 'cause that just makes sense. Likewise for a forge, though I can't be sure. No barracks, 'cause the catapult didn't have that blue glow. No stables, 'cause why would you build them without a barracks? No walls. Maybe a market? But yeah, I can't really tell for sure.

Yes, the graphics on my mini- and defence advisor maps are generally screwed up. I have no idea why; it's been like that ever since I got BtS. Also the flags for Warlords civs don't show up, which is disappointing. That should be everything, though.

You should be able to check maintenance on a revolting city via the tooltip even though it says 0 on the main screen.

Really ... I will keep that in mind. Thanks, NobleHelium!

No combat on Serdoa's turn. I killed but a warrior on mine; advancing toward Zz'gash. Serdoa has a lot of horse archers ... full update coming tonight, hopefully.
