[SPOILERS] scooter, pindicator, and Huayna Capac try some fast Zulu cuisine

Me, I don't think so Caravels can blockade.

Um, they can sit on tiles I guess?

Unless the Realms Beyond Mod Changed, Carvels pretty much can't do anything, since they can't pillage or blockade, however u can still have them camp over a tile to prevent cities from working it.

Yeah, I don't think they changed caravels any.

So let's not upgrade the triremes; after caravels come on the scene we can use the triremes to blockade.

I know I shouldn't be talking about fast food anymore. But since I've showed a bit of the chinese fasr food, I have to show a bit of the brazilian fast food:

It reads "Méquidonis". Which is actually quite close to how people pronounce McDonalds in portuguese.

FYI - I played the turn, it was pretty simple. I pretty much just whipped the one trireme as planned while letting everything grow while we prep for Caravels. I started Harbors in Sid's and Culvers because those should actually be pretty beneficial given how much trade income those cities are raking in.

Yeah, no blockading for caravels apparently.

Although most people keep on forgetting that it is possible to go into other people's borders w/o OB with Carvels

Not a big deal if we are already at war - which we would be when using them.

Another turn, another free Hinduism spread:

We also no longer have to worry about the siren song of that literature quest. Nope, guns and more guns are all we need to teach our people. An eventful turn for Bigger & Lewwyn: finish their 9th library, and they attacked Azza again.

Trying to figure out what Commodore is up to here...

I'm guessing he's going to sneak attack Serdoa. And our archer has front row seats for the road work popcorn

Also, what's the plan behind a missionary in Domino's? We have one in Five Guys and another going to be finished in Dairy Queen shortly.

Taking a look at some cities...

What do you think about hiring a pair of scientists here and picking up off the cottages? Or we can give the wine to KFC. But Sid's is at it's happy cap next size (whip anger wears off in 4 turns). I'm also tempted to suggest starting National Epic, since this is going to be our great person place, but that will take 11 turns and we may need Sid's building military since we're going to war.

We just finished our first ikhanda! I'd go straight into Heroic Epic here, it'll be a 13 turn build. Hopefully we can find someone with a source of marble they'll be willing to trade.

KFC can whip it's ikhanda now too. I'm not sure if we should or if we should just keep growing that city, though.

We do need a few cheap military units to garrison Jamba Juice, KFC, and it'd be nice to free up some of our more experienced units that are garrisoning cities currently. If the naval battle goes well against slowcheetah, we should have some military ready to go to try to capture some of those island cities with. Shouldn't need much -- half a dozen units on 3 galleys to start; he isn't in slavery so he won't be able to react quickly to any attack.

The thought was Jamba Juice. The missionary in Five Guys is set aside for the inland city. I'm also not super convinced that we'll actually finish one out of DQ shortly since we need that city to grow a little more, and it has no real production outside of the whip.

This sounds good to me. We definitely are going to need to build some military out of here as you said.

That forest can be chopped into Heroic Epic too which will help a little. There is definitely marble out there to be had, but we don't really have much of value to trade away right now unfortunately. I'm not sure if there's anything we can do about that honestly.

Let's whip the Ikhanda so we can get right into some garrison troops out of KFC. KFC isn't a spectacular longterm site or anything, might as well whip it a bit while it's at a smaller size with a strong food surplus. Happy cap will not be an issue for quite awhile there.
