WPC don't know Iron Working yet! Dumb/bad luck for them planting on the iron. In fact, the only teams I have down for IW currently are CivFr and Univers, though it's possible another team researched the tech this turn. Note the tile yield - it should have been 2-2-1 if WPC knew IW.
I think Apolyton are pretty cramped for land. They have ocean to their east, to their south they have CivFr, and to their west I think they have quite a bit of water and also Univers. Also, CivFr has only 11 cities but are the rival best in land. Note also their expansion in both north-south and east-west. I think Nom Svp is a real aggressive city plant, and that CivFr has really pushed pushed their cities far.
Ie, I think we should try to cultivate Apolyton a bit. Right now they're #3 behind us and CivFr, on par with CFC. Granted, we can't really help them against CivFr, but having one team which can provide resource trades, high-value trade routes and some intel would still be helpful for them.
Another thing that amuses me is how Christianity has spread around. No less then three teams have one Christian city, and I think Univers has received quite a few spontaneous spreads too.

Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width
