Which is why killing the Germans first is better. Than we can just turn on WPC since they'll be even further behind the German's technologically. And no I don't feel bad for either of them. backstab

My worry is that the war may get a little drawn out by WPC's inability to beat the Germans in their half of the fight. We'll probably end up declaring war on WPC with the Germans still around or alternatively have to do the work for WPC then gift them the cities before declaring war and taking them back.

Whatever the case it feels like it'll get messy.

we actually argeed that we spilt them, or did we just argee that that was the intention ...

If WPC run into issues pushing for their part, nothing should stop us from taking it.

We're not gifting anything to WPC. We don't even really care if they attack the Germans or not.

They were supplying some catapults and expecting land in return IIRC.

Speaking of which, any idea if they can actually supply the catapults they said they could?

Our HE city will be online soon and building 1t catapults. It's the only non-obsolete unit it can build, and anything cheaper would eventually waste overflow. So we'll be building a few war chariots there I imagine and a crapload of catapults. I don't think WPC's contribution will matter much, we should just renegotiate the WPC deal to each of us bringing our own forces and keeping what we can take.

I imagine we'll go for guilds after Nationalism, but after t131 we'll still need Metal Casting, Machinery, Horseback Riding, Feudalism, and Guilds. We'll be building Cats at least until the tech after Metal Casting is in. We might want to pick up Printing Press or something before Guilds, too.

I also think we might want to attack later than t150. We have some cities to settle still, and a lot of infra we can build. And we'll be in a golden age from t145 to t152.
I have to run.

If ircc we already renegotiated the catapult part.

That is the current "deal."

Doesn't anyone check the diplo thread about what has been said? Our current plan for the war against the Germans are that we will supply our own units, both us and WPC http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthrea...#pid344482
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

I have updated the diplo thread with a dump of WPC communications. This whole discussion needs to be moved over to that thread.
