Ugh. This will be one long-ass turn. First the delays in the start with the timer slowdown, and now I see that the Spanish haven't even logged into the game yet, 36 hours after the turn rolled.
I hope CFC will play quickly.

Did CFC and spanish take peace? Wondering why civstats clock didn't reset to "40 hours remaining" when spanish finished the turn.

I have been seeing a lot of thread absorbsion with regards to recent turns. First the micro-heavy librelisim discussion, which should really have been in the micro thread, and then the discussions about the marble and potential alliances for our team, which should really be in the diplo thread. Just feels like this thread has absorbed all the threads.
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!

Happens all the time. This is the grab-bag thread, after all. Keeping discussions to separate also carries issues - things often interact, and for those of us with team responsibilities (primarily Sullla as the turn-player) it is harder to write several different turn reports regarding different things.

OK, I have one request to make. We're currently waiting on CFC to end their turn, whenever that might be, and I have no idea if I'll be sitting next to my computer when they do sometime today. We currently have our Woodsman II axe moving his way through CivPlayers territory in full scumbag fashion via double move across the turn timer window. When the turn flips, can someone (most likely kjn but anyone is free to do so) log into the game and move our Woodsman II axe out of CivPlayers territory? There's only one path available to the east that takes us out of their borders.
If we're lucky then I'll be around to do it myself, but if not, hopefully someone here can do that one move. Thanks.

No problem. Do you have a preference for E-E or E-NE?

To be fair, it's only that one floodplain. Otherwise, competing priorities, they wanted 1st ring copper to the east, 1st ring gold to the north. They should have just settled on the damn bananas.
The one floodplains wouldn't have saved them anyway.

Well, Hill to the Sky is decently placed (though if there is one team that could have done without first-ring copper, it's WPC with their resource-free dog soldiers). The trouble is North River, that I think should have been placed 1E, on the plains tile instead, getting three flood plains, gold, and the sheep.
