Not sure what you mean with that SC scout dotted line. Optics does not make land units (on land) see three tiles over water, it just makes sea units (and sea tile culture) see two tiles.

Thought i saw our archer out west with extra vision, but you're right - only a sentry unit would see 3 tiles

This has been on my mind so far today. Mulling it over.

Without naval superiority, or hammer superiority, or food superiority, or GNP superiority...let's attack Xenu if we have to fight.

I hope the lack of whips from Serdoa is because he's prepping the units to be whipped next turn. nono

That game was so exciting even the officials stood back and watched

Yeah.... yeah. Still in mourning over here. Sorry, didn't get a chance to check into this last night with the game going on and all. I can probably end turn around lunch time.

I do think the price of marble from Serdoa is much too steep. Did you have something in mind to counter-offer?

lol That's the best description of the game that I've heard yet. What a game. Tough break, scooter, but those Cards helped me win my brackets. jive You'll get 'em next year. That Michigan team is impressive.

Yeah, the officiating was bad at both sides of the ball. I felt like tge officials were in awe or too scared to make a call so that things got very physical on both ends. Then they'd realize they better call something and blow their whistle on something small or non-existant (like that excellent block).

Yeah, the consistency was really, really all over the map. I blame the NCAA for this kind of thing actually. The NCAA level officials don't get paid enough for it to be truly full-time. In the offseason they hold other jobs rather than attending paid training-type things to get better at their jobs. The reality is as long as the NCAA doesn't sufficiently pay for officials, it's going to be spotty at best. Basketball is difficult enough to ref as-is. Considering the NCAA basically prints money and none of it goes to the athletes... yeesh, at least make sure your officials are competent right? It's silly. /rant

Didn't get a chance to login over lunch as planned, something came up. Hopefully we'll be rolling again here shortly. smile
