(There was an ocean tile in the way by the way.)

Found his post about the attack. Talk about not being able to read the power numbers correctly ... I had 1 chariot (on my mainland) and hadn't mined my copper (which he could tell if he had checked the trade screen).

Here is my report from around that time.

That said - I can understand how he read the situation. But he only half read it.

This was hilarious to me. The power numbers thing wasn't really relevant - I suck at reading those, and it just appeared that I was right in my guess, but I still made the decision having no idea what was on the boat. I'm always paranoid of a neighbor with circumnav in the galley era. I've seen too many people get burned by it. Besides, I just watched you take a good look at my mostly empty cities and then you showed up with a circumnav galley exactly 3 tiles away from a vulnerable city. So yeah, it seemed too perfectly lined up for you to be a coincidence. I guess it was a coincidence anyways.

I think it's funny that one of those 3 tiles is an ocean one that the galley can't travel on.

To think I could have run my scout 1 more tile east to defog the island city ... but I decided to do it with a galley and sent the scout west instead.
