A player is needed for a pitboss game

Hi there, I'm playing a pitboss game now outside of this commmunity and it looks like that one of our players isn't quite able to keep up with it. He asked me to find him a teammate and so, here I am.
The game is played with K-Mod v.1.39. It is primeraly an improved AI mod which is irrelevant for our game as we have no AIs. But it also has some perfomance/balance/game mechanics improvements which I like.
Game settings: randomly generated map, seven civs, normal speed, standard size, big and small (with a patch which allows for luxury resources on small landmasses), huts on, events off, tech trading on (but we have a house rule limiting an amount of beakers which can be traded), tech brokering off, double-moves banned, spies allowed with all missions except "change civics/religion", war elephants allowed (sorry), ICBMs banned until sattelites, full diplo (sorry).
It's T90 now and civ in question is Peter of Russia (we are playing with generic leaders). The civ is in a very good position, both GNP and CY leader, clearly one of the major contenders, if not a favorite. The game itself looks extremely interesting and fun for now, at least from my perspective.
If you are intrested, please post here or PM me. I was asked to find a "teammate" but looking at how things going, you should be prepared to become a permanent sub.

Bumping up this thread... I thought, I found a sub but he disappeared and we are in need for a player again... Also, former Russian player has officially retired, so if anyone steps up, he will be playing alone.

I have too full a slate to join but this has got me interested in K-Mod and seeing how their answers of improving game balance differed from RB-Mod

I would be willing to try, the problem is that I have never played Pitboss before... Still, I have a decent amount of experience with civ 4 (6+ years), I just am more from a modding and SP background. I also am at least theoretically versed on MP Tactics(i.e. forking cities, globe theatre draft camp etc.). If you find somebody more experienced I won't take it personally, but if you're willing to deal with one or two inevitable technical problems of mine, I'll take over.

2 pindicator. Well, K-Mod is primarily an AI mod and rebalancing was always a secondary consideration. It is nowhere near as ambitious as RB-Mod. However, some things which K-Mod does with balance are really interesting, especially new religious spread and culture mechanics. The former puts later religions on almost equal footing with older ones in terms of spread, the later makes culture much more powerful and important.

Oxy, You could always just post your thoughts here and eventually a thoughtful admin may find somewhere better to relocate the thread. But Civ General Discussion isn't a terrible place for it, I don't think.

I suppose the PBEM duel forum might actually be a reasonable place, considering that is the closest thing we have to Misc game forum.
