[SPOILERS] Jowy & Stampy

I hired a lot of scientist specialists now that the bulk of our force is out there.
Started research on Feudalism. We'll have a need for Longbows sooner or later. Three reasons for that. 1. If we win the war, we need to hold the cities. 2. If we lose the war, we need to hold our lands. 3. If we get attacked by someone else. We'll also get a Great Scientist next turn (80% probability) which we could use to pop a tech. I'm not sure what it would pop, too lazy to check a chart since we'll find out next turn anyway :P Also offered spices to Commodore for free. Even free trades should mean a 10 turn NAP, I think. The 1680 is good for my net connection, but the inline smaller versions aren't of much value 'cuz there's not much to make out, and having the full size image pop up in another tab is a bit irritating. Dunno what the balance option would be.

Oops. It must have been in the lurker guide to let you flounder a bit first. Sorry! T-Hawk put that element together a while back, if I'm remembering it right. A nice bit of javascript hackery.

As thx, have an update early
Throwing everything at his front city, which is on a hill and has all his units, would not be a bright idea. Don't get me wrong, I'll still check the odds in a simulation, but my guess is that it'd be bloody. So we are going to fork his cities. Red square is two moves from three cities. He can't possibly defend them all. Blue square is another idea, but if he keeps his army in the orange square, then he can reinforce the two cities according to our movement. But all four? Good luck with that AT. I guess he could do hit and runs as we move past the front city, but we have better odds defending on open than attacking that city lol. Notice the lack of roads. This is really good for us. We'll still be razing a few though. |
