Lynches are always a nice solution.
Realistically though, he has made only 3 posts in the last 2 weeks, and flaked out of any major participation in WW22. plus I've heard through tasunke he's probably gotten really busy with school studies, and so likely wouldn't be back around soon.

Okay I am trying to follow along but although I have read every post in each day's forums, I am completely lost. Can anyone summarize? I must have missed something about being "foolished"

Yeah.. This isn't really all that interesting to lurk, as you can't really "play along". It might be interesting from a player's perspective, though. Kind of similar to assassin in the palace in that sense, perhaps. I don't think I'll rush to sign up for the next one, either. Seems like it will all just culminate in one giant dice roll, anyway? That's my impression, at least. I don't really have a clue.
If you know what I mean.

Well, I guess with missing all the reveal-PMs it's hard to really follow this game.

That's the feeling I get as well. Even if both teams figure out all the roles it looks like it is just luck who is sent to what room in the last round. Because let's say you, as team blue, know the president is in your room and the bomber in the other: Do you send the president over hoping that the other team will do the same, or do you keep him in his room counting on team red to keep the bomber as well?
And in case you don't figure out who is who, it becomes even more of a dice roll.
I don't really understand where the strategy comes in, but maybe that's just me... Can someone explain it?

It did seem like one of the rooms had a decent strategy of controlling the room and keeping the president and bomber in the same room, at which point they could send one of them away. No idea if that's feasible at all or not

You are right, that could to be a valid strategy if a team is able to pull it off. So if that happened the other team would have to try to wrest control of that room by sending more of their members over.
It's just too bad we don't get the reveal info as lurkers. Maybe BRickAstley could post the reveal info in this lurker thread that is forbidden for the players? Then again, one misclick of a player reading this thread could ruin the whole game...

I think that the whole "sides separate into 2 different rooms based on color and the game ends in a dice roll" is only applicable for a passive game. There's a lot of room for other plays throughout the game, such as trying to trap the other team's Big role (president/bomber) in a room the other color controls, making sure that the doctor and engineer meet their respective Big roles, the grey players trying to find their own condition with the freedom to side with any side that they wish to, spies gaining deep cover and messing over the other team right at the end, dealers trying to trap unsuspecting members of the other team into getting out in the open, etc.
Also, this role-set is very close to vanilla even with a minority of vanilla role players, the roles involved are relatively simplistic compared to possible combinations. Compare the roleset of WW1 to one of the recent WW games where everyone has a unique role, the possible spread is kinda like that and this is at the simple end.
And also yeah, it is harder to follow along as lurkers, as not all data is open for all to see. If anyone is really interested in the full role set, PM me and I could share the list with you, but don't post any of that info in this thread either, just in case.

I looked up the meatworld version. One variant includes Zombies. Oh dear.
