Is it me, or is Plako looking better than Commodore right now? Big CY lead, MoM(albiet with 1-person and 2-person GA used up), but more importantly while it seems like Commodore is heading to Chemistry, Plako is going towards Democracy. Statue of Liberty + Mercantilism + Environmentalism + Representation along with 27 cities would be pretty insane.

SoL wouldn't apply to every city, it only applies to every city on a continent. But yeah, if Commodore gets Chem he needs to make it work, which pretty much means another invasion.

So the Zulu then? Serdoa doesn't have astronomy yet, but he is extremely paranoid of a Commodore invasion so I doubt Commodore could do much more than snipe an outlying city. The Zulu have pretty much adopted a foreign policy of, "If Commodore attacks us, we're screwed so we're gonna assume that he isn't going to attack us."
If Commodore comes in 20 turns or so, no amount of whipped galleons are gonna stop him and Zulu's land forces are pretty pathetic.

Honestly don't know. If Zulu "win" the war and grind Slowcheetah down, then attacking either has upsides and downsides and it's important to consider what the other players can and will do. If Zulu start to lose though...yeah, I would expect Commodore to pile on and take what he could from the Zulu...but I'd also expect him to time an attack on the French mainland as well. Hammer and anvil style, make France have wasted everything trying to take out the Zulu but get nothing and still have to defend against an invasion on their homeland.

The problem is if Commodore attacks France he can be sure that plako will exploit any weaknesses in France defence in the north.

Sounds a little like MAD, no matter who does what, it will backfire on every party involved.
Yeah, I'm not happy about my past behaviour either.

I wish we could see more reports form Slowcheetah. I hope that he has some great plan that he is working out but my guess is that his inexperience at war is showing. He needs to take the Commodore approach of (win at all costs). Scooter and Pindicator clearly have. Their navy is ridiculous!

Slowcheetah should have settled a city in the horse island. If that was the case, he could unload his troops on Zulu continent with only one turn of movement.

What am i missing about Slowcheetah's galleon stack? The stack is even with the horses, and can unload on the nearest Zulu city next turn... there is no 'contain it next turn', the city will already be gone.
Right?

Right?
I think they've already written off that city. They're worried about their mainland.
I have to run.
