I can unequivocally state that I will not play a turn on this map.
I know is hard to discuss things without giving spoilers, but can't we work around this? As far as I understand, the map wasn't edited in anyway, since we were going to test Seven's mapscript. I don't understand what the mapmaker could have done to make the game unplayable.
I'm fine if you want to repick your leader, though I think it has nothing to do with this.

Hm, I think I vetoed the mid-game rule change too politely.

It's not reasonable that some players have just been given spoiler knowledge about the map and others haven't - that is why I preferred Kyan just pick with the knowledge that he had 2 food resources in the fog, picking conservatively. However, the compromise I suggested was that everyone got some spoiler knowledge, just got completely ignored.
What we have is a lurker has just gone and spoiled certain players. How can I be OK with that now, when I stated before that I wasn't OK with it happening? The only potential compromise is that those players that haven't been given spoiler information (myself and potentially others) are informed of what type of food resource they have in the fog (if that is what the others were informed) or the specific resource. But that only works if everyone is OK with it, and 4 players just said that they wanted to pick without the spoiler knowledge.
In the interests of getting the game moving I'm OK with the compromise of being given the spoiler information, provided everyone else is, but no more mid game rules changes. Ever. Don't even think about them. If one person doesn't want this then get a new map.

I've been trying half heartedly to make up for this.

How about giving a picture of the full BFC for every player? Everyone would get the same info this way and we could proceed. I think it can be done through worldbuilder and tile reveal.

As mapmaker, I created a problem by following the rules. As of now, everyone knows one food resource in the capital BFC. I felt that was the least damaging solution to an already damaged situation.
If that is too much to bear, another mapmaker can surely be found.

I'll vote whichever way Seven votes, but when we said no to that before why say yes to it now? I suppose I shouldn't try to read Sevens mind.

Well, I understand why Ceil did it, but I also understand were Krill is coming from. Lets just move on with Krills suggestion and take it from there, ok?
Yes: Krill, Serdoa
No:
Abstain: Ichabod
edit: I'm also fine with showing the whole BFC, just in case I'm the one missing and not around when we finally have all voiced our opinion, but I really want to get that moving and to be frank it makes for me nearly to no difference if we go with Krills suggestion or the whole BFC, that's more or less the same in terms of picking imo.

I wanted (and still want) to play a game on a script-generated map. One of the consequences of that is you have to figure out your start. I don't want extra information about it handed to me.
I hate to say it but I think we should scrap our map, leader/civ combos and start player, because we are apparently still in the rules discussion phase of setup.
