do you remember what turn you made the trade? how long before you turned the turns over to me? I can try to squeeze in parthenon i guess if we're stuck with marble for 3-4 more turns. I need stone back, though, there are more important wonders that require it.
I think foreign trade routes will be more valuable than the free specialists here. and will allow us to run higher than a 0% slider, lol. we'll see though, we can swtich back in 5 turns if it doesnt work out.
ill think about attacking cornflakes, once im back in nationalism. ive got a scout over there, but I think it will require commodore making some gains. cornflakes has the highest power rating.

also, the Q area close to us is azza's territory, so its going to be less developed than his core. still, if we can get a 3 way war:
I don't understand the rules here. is 2metra obligated to attack as well if I accept this?

I think you can tell how many turns for the marble deal from F4 / Active, then mouseover the trade?

also got another requested from Q to go to war with 2 metra, haha. turned them both down. constitution is pretty worthless to us atm, since we have the pyramids.
2metra doesnt exactly come off as a military genius here. he has a solid front with q, why is he attacking from commodores front? and why did he move onto the jungle tile with no road, slowing himself down?
still, after looking around.. i was beginning to think there was nothing to be done to prevent cornflakes from winning at this point, so if the 2 of them are going to go after a dogpile we might as well join in. so I moved troops in position to attack azza's former city.. its juicy, has gold, size 8, and food, so that will be a nice prize. might hav eto raze after that. I did insist my price was higher, though:
should I reoffer the trade deal to AT, with the stipulation that he declare war on cornflakes?

hehe this is fun. Got a little slimy here.
So I logged on just now: only AT has played. 2metra accepted my deal, so I take that as I'm obligated to DOW before the turn ends. but I probably would prefer being after cornflakes, and anyway im ready to go to bed and play the turn when I wake up.
i accepted this. love the nervous appeasement. won't even get to keep these for a turn, but might as well not hope for some surprise.
SOOO.. if this was ai it would enforce a peace deal.. I really don't think that happens in MP. I hope thats right, otherwise I unintentionally cheated and am going to have to ask for a reload. lol, I hope not.
since im not DOW until teh end of turn, and commodore hasn't moved yet, might as well try to double dip:
I'm going to declare whether he accepts or not, but he doesnt know that, hehe .
AT started education and it only takes 5 turns.. I might should reoffer the deal I refused, just to not lose out on beakers. constitution would at least allow me to trade for democracy down the road if someone else ressearches it. might attaach a little gold on my end and a "declare war on cornflakes" on his end, to make this a fun 4 way dogpile .

It wouldn't be a peace treaty with an AI either. It needs to be a demand in SP.

I'm finding it odd that Cornflakes offered us Ivory & Gold for free...
I like the double dealing though it is a little iffy as I think you should have, in the spirit, declared immediately after accepting.
Is this a token fight or are you actually attacking?

oh I'm attacking i have combat workers in place and will be in position to take a city 2nd turn of war, depending on if he's added garrison to that city (doubtful as he's got a 2 way war elsewhere). that city actually has gold. it doesnt surprise me that he gave us that for free, he's trying to bribe us out of the war

well commodore accepted my proposed deal. with 2 different civs bribing me to go to war with cornflakes, I guess I have to go to war .
I probably could have gotten more than 100 gold, but didn't want to be greedy since I had to DOW even if he turned down the deal.
3v1 is not good enough odds, lets see if I can make this a real dogpile:
seems pretty lopsided in his favor, so I hope he accepts. regardless I can't do shit for research and have to us TT as I can for gaining beakers, even if they aren't especially useful techs at the moment. I suppose i'll need optics for astronomy, and maybe cornflakes will research democracy
I do plan to take Lewwyns advice and not accept peace until cornflakes is willing to give up chemistry. plus a city or two, and a few razed hehe.
somehow commodore and 2metra have a worse economy than us, not sure how.
anyway, onto the war:
this taken before I declared. this jackass did an automove before I could stop him and used up his movement points, but it shows this city undefended. hehe, that will change. too bad I have no navy on this side of the map.
the northern front:
if he's smart he'll retreat, I think, and abandon the city. this city I will keep, and raze a few around it to create an culture free border.
southern front:
ok not much here, wasn't prepared for war out of insanity wolf. but I did capture this worker, which I hope to keep I have new drafted muskets en route, and also this stack of single movers:
minus the axe, which is military police.
this happen as the turn rolled:
k, obviously I selected no vote here. But are AP resolutions banned? I think so, but don't remember. If not, could always come in handy if the tide turns.
