I'm getting a ton of practice at playing hopeless positions. Pretty sure Commodore is trying to free up my schedule for you here as well

Good news 4H have no cities on the land west of Darius. I'm trying to gobble it up. so many good happies.

Also I settled the island city. I have an archer a cat and an axe in the city atm. I'm going to move a worker over and a spear + a chariot.

I may attack 4H.

The last couple turns have renewed confidence in my ability, which after losing multiple cities had started to flag.

We are in my opinion currently kicking ass. I'm about to take that horse city that 4H planted in the middle. I'm sending more settlers to the West which is bountiful and free and full of so many lux goodies.

I killed a Smack trireme at 32%. I killed a Smack scout in the west.

We are spreading confu and I did convert in England which has helped our happy greatly.

We have teched through poly and Mono 1T each and monarchy will also finish 1T at 10% slider next turn. Then we have to make a decision on whether to swap into HR and OR.

Darius is #1 in power and Joao is #4.
Darius is top in GNP and Food and MFG. The cities are ripening and we have units flowing over to the west via galley's now that we've broken the trireme choke.

I'm pleasantly surprised. Our island city has 4 units in it and a trireme to protect it. 4H have a galley around but don't know about our trireme I hope to catch it. Smack don't have a port on this island ocean. RMOG do but I have seen none of their ships. Peony is providing huge dividends in the form TRs and sugar.

All the iron is in the West. There isn't any on the main land. With my next city plant I will have secured 2 sources of iron. If we get enough settlers and units we will be able to settle right up next to 4Hs capital. Hopefully they will be preoccupied by the attack and won't notice us gobbling up the open land.

Oh... just thought about Smack being Rome. They will need to settle across the sea to get iron. Thats probably why we haven't seen praets yet. But if they had a scout over there I'm sure they've started settling that way as well and should have iron soon. I will start building a few more axes and cats in England accordingly. Lily has almost finished a Forge! Going to be a great unit pump.

I will try to get in tonight and do some pictures. I really need to get up to speed with this game anyway.
Feudalism sounds solid; maybe head straight to Guilds and work to deny iron to Smack?
- what are we like on the economic side of teching?

Pindicator, if you are taking requests for screenshots, I would appreciate it if you could take screenshots of every city screen, F2, F9 demographics, F6 and F5 for both civs thanks smile
