Well then, for ye watchers: I'm about to get a fat load of moolah.
...and here's my latest city.
Finally, finances.

Beautiful, just beautiful. That's a lot of money for quick speed. I'm sure I can burn through it real fast though.
Two turns to rifling is nice, though, and the Bureaucapital is finally at long last worthy of the name. Everest is going to keep up with the being awesome and owning face for a while now. The lovely thing about Spiritual is that I'll be able to cheerily flip-flop between Bureaucracy and Nationhood all game...I need to get Oxford up and running by the next time I flip, though.
Thestick made some headway against poor MH. France really is the competition to beat right now, so I'm generally glad to see it's been slow. Janissaries are a touch overrated, but they do fight cuirs pretty nicely. Keep fighting buddy!
Next turn, comparatively underwhelming Pulag joins the fold. This will be a fine outpost, with mines and workshops late, Colossus coast growth early. I'm not entirely thrilled planting next door to Musketeer Man, but it's on a hill, and ultimately very very expendable.
Semeru is developing very nicely, pushing borders, building needed infra. Until such peaceful times as it can blossom into its full potential, this is a fine drafting victim.
Right, so we're rapidly counting down to showtime again with Dazed, and once the ball goes up our dear friend Ludwig will be overjoyed to bring the light of Sumerian culture right up to the very doorsteps of Man in Black, which upon dying will also open the way to Cuirs hitting south at the resettlement fighting for marble.
...but it won't be cuirs that hit him...

Ok, finally caught up. Gogogogogogogo.....
Do you have a name for the up upcoming op vs. dazed? "Operation Make Eliminate of Dazed for Peacefill World". Has a snazzy ring to it, I'd say.

I favor "Operation Marathon" because he's Darius, after all.
Okay, so I didn't upgrade everybody. Still that's a very strong spearhead, and I'll whip out 10-20 more once I can go back to sweet, sweet slavery.
...that got delayed this turn when I realized I had just enough overflow to one-turn Economics. Fast forwarding to the end of turn...
Heh, so yes, that's another big paycheck incoming. I think I'll be staying in mercantilism, so I'm very glad that doesn't stop me from running trade missions. I will be getting a trade route boost with corporation before too long, so I want to get another island city. Hrm...
Oh course, that's the peaceful way. The Via Morsus is, of course, taking by hook or crook another island from poor Dazed. It'll be annoying to go the long way by coast, but there is a big Moai city I want to bump off ASAP. Just need to clear the Egyptian naval riffraff out of here first.
I'll be going from Caste to Slavery and of course from Bureaucracy to Nationhood, but I'll also be going the big flip of Pacifism to Theocracy. Vinson will be pumping out 9xp cavalry at a comfortable rate of 1 per turn for quite some time. This city, man.
One more turn of enforced peace, and then it's clobberin' time.

So, firstly, news of the mark! Looks like Mr. thestick is rocking the musketeer/cuirs dream.
AT is having revenge upon Dazed, too. Poor Dazed...he's made two big attacks in the last dozen turns, and both have netted him -1 city each.
So, here's the front. Man In Black anchors the first line; there is a lovely hilly fork tile deeper if I can crack that city. Heli/Ele are small, underdeveloped runt cities, barely worth any time.
Elephantine is annoying; Dazed whipped in a catapult, which moved it from "good chance" to "hard to try". I did attempt boating it even still, but my poor brave pinch cuir didn't make it, so the musket never bothered to follow up.
The main event; less of a boom, more of a moist "phfftlpt" sound, but I squeeked just enough border control to be able to range Dazed's cities.
A too-small stack of catapult went into the breech, weakening Dazed's huge defender stack a little bit.
Smacked around Dazed's navy a bit too...
...Semehu has a full BFC now...
...AT is on watch...
...I'm in second place. Still.

I want Understand Man, then I'll be able to crack Things Happen from the north; essential for avoiding that nasty river malus when attacking that tough hilly city. Cannon might be needed to crack his core wide open, actually; that's an expensive but needed soon anyway diversion.
Ring of Fire got reinforced annoyingly, but I have following a pair of rifles, that ought to net us the city. State Property means I'll be getting foreign trade again, but it also means even any distant city will be dirt cheap. So, pile 'em on!
AT is pissing in my cheerios. I'm going to slam out a settler for the canal spot ASAP and then boat Understand, so it's going to be okay. I need moar land!!!
Awesome, caught the animation. AT paid out a cool 1.541k for the privilege of burning my victim. Economics diversion: Totally, 100% worth it. If I have a shot against thestick, it's due this GP scooping.
Still! Upbeat, I shall push onward! A massive ~65 GG point gain last turn means I'll have a trick pony or three incoming, and Dazed couldn't recapture any glory by killing my victors, so we have a very healthy army incoming, just need a little R&R first. He's going to be getting rifles shortly, but eh...such is life.

Been looking forward to this one:
Haven't been there, but I live on the other end of the range.

Okay, that's a lot of muskets and cats.
Maybe I should just eat a little northeastness. Here's the empire as a whole; any questions about anything?
Ignore the sadness, the workboat is about to fix that.
