In that case, would running something like 40, 50, 50 on the slider (ignoring any pillage gold we get out of things) be enough to lend CivFR?
Nothing wrong with some gold gifting AND rhetoric to encourage a 2v1 against CFC? Or even a 3v1 if they can recruit the other French in?
Finally, remind me if I'm wrong, but UniversCiv the ones with the MoM? If yes, then they probably would have fired a 1-man Golden Age already, and the fact that this was still available for CivFR makes sense.

Well we should definitely finish Engineering before giving any gold to CivFr. I highly doubt they are in any sort of emergency situation.

Nope, it is CivFr that built the MoM, and this is their second golden age.

That genuinely makes it look confusing. Remember, for a 2-man golden age, both great people must be on the same tile. They're saying they managed to run both great people together, through tiles where they don't even have road access, and hit the big gold button together?
This is suspicious, and makes me less inclined to gift gold to CivFR.

I don't think that is true.
Also can we offer the gold together with Open Borders (if we don't have them already.)?

No, great people can be anywhere to launch a golden age.

Gold and open borders. We should try and ink a token NAP of some sort (til like turn 180) after we try to bribe them. It shouldn't take that much time to get the gold back via trade routes right?

No, it will take forever, really. We currently have a full set of foreign trade routes, so the thing that CivFr offers in trade is one size 19 and one size 16 city. Ie we will get +4C or so, at best.
But that's right now, when we have OBs with CFC, WPC, Apolyton, and the Spanish. The Spanish are going down, and we won't have OBs with CFC after T175, and I'm quite unsure we can keep them with Apolyton.
So long-term OB with CivFr will be really valuable, but right now it's of pretty limited value.

+4C isn't bad, that'll probably atleast break even before the game is done (unless the game ends 5 turns into a CFC war).
