grr. so at turned down both my offers (both liberalism for chemistry, and to 20gpt + sugar to stop trading with AT). quite annoying, it seems he has chosen to ally himself with cornflakes. I feel like im going to have to invade AT with "stop trading with cornflakes" as the peace condition - at the very least it should be easy to raze the border city that has one source of iron.. and I guess send spies after the source deeper in his empire.

I'll have to think about it, I haven't moved yet.

well apparently At finally gave up chemistry to us, lol. yay. I think offered him the same deal as the turn ebfore (liberalism) but through in like 40 cash. lol.

well thats a good sign. now just have to get him to stop providing iron to cornflakes and we'll be in good shape.

heh, ok, so obviously I refused. I offered him iron and horses in exchange for steel, hehe. I'll gladly help him build cannons as long as I can build my own!

unfortunately, AT gave us chemistry but hasn't yet stopped trading with cornflakes. 2 more turns until that deal has been ongoing for 10, im still holding out hope he will cancel it at some point. (TT says he can do it at any point since this is MP, not really sure). I did offer him gold to do so, since we'll have 3 sources next turn.

on that note, next turn i will offer gold to commodore for marble to pump out the heroic epic.

with a few extra specialists I was able to complete divine right at EOT. whipped a knight in our wonder city to overflow into that. both it and the priest wonder should be done in 7-8 turns, although it will be awhile still untiul I can get 4 priest specialists to hopefully land a great prophet. next turn I'll have to revolt to free market to accumulate some cash, im just barely in the black at 0% science in mercantilism.

ill set research next to replaceable parts. only because there is a greater chance (slightly) that at will trade military arts (curaissers) with us than cornflakes will trade replaceable parts (and he's quite a bit off it anyway), and I'd prefer steel anyway.

TT, can you take over by wednesday or thursday? ill be taking over pb8 by this weekend, and can't really manage both.

What I said he could do it declare war and it would cancel the deal. The deal wouldn't have been a 10 turn peace guarantee.

It must be a good sign that CF is begging for Iron, must mean he is worried about an attack from AT. Would seem odd for AT to attack now that everyone else is locked into peace with CF, but I won't be complaining.

I think its more likely he'll just cancel the deal. however, most of his forces are stacked either on the border with cornflakes or Jowy (where he needs them to prevent revolt), not on our borders.

no reason to screw poor commodore, who is losing, so I left this alone. would have loved to push through a blockade of cornflakes or AT .

But he can no longer build cannons either:

lucky AT cancelled the iron deal as soon as the 10 turns passed. he is still supplying horses, but who cares - knights also require Iron, so all cornflakes can build now is muskets and horse archers (or maces, he does have one copper source of his own).

nice guy AT turn down all my bribes to stop trading with cornflakes, then did it anyway as soon as he was able.

I also offered gold commodore for his marble, which he turned down. last turn I offered the same deal to AT, hopefully he accepts as I want to start heroic epic soon (and can't give up stone just yet).

I hope this war goes down with lots of blood on both sides (hopefully 2 metra can kill some cannons). I don't get it, though. 2 metra is getting samped by cornflakes' culture from across the lake, so he probably should just evacuate the city - and cornflakes can probably eventually take it by culture or get him to liberate, not sure he should risk war.

this made me laugh, but I refused - I need all my soldiers in the border city with cornflakes (formery apocolypse), this city is crap now anyway for anyone but cornflakes due to the culture.

we're #2 regardless of our science rate. #1 is AT, who is probably also at 0% science in this picture. he is the ONLY one with a good economy, really - I don't understand how commodore and 2 metra have such bad economies. ours may be much better once we get a shrine and spiral miranet online. we are getting 125 gpt at 0% science, thanks to the revolt to free market (less than 10 in mercantilism, so didn't have much of a choice there).

AT really is in danger of running away, techwise. I hope commodore and cornflakes realize this. we aren't far behind if i get the cash and start growing my population (we are #1 in land) we can catch up, but I don't see how anyone else will be able too.
