I guess most prudent course of action is to notify UniverCiv ASAP so they get a password on there and then post about it after UniverCiv has a password.

Can you add a password midgame? I thought you had to do it when you first claimed the civ.

I'm pretty sure you can add a password the same way you add one in a PBEM.
