Oh really? Yeah, I'm behind on lurking PB9 as well and I guess by "ok" I just mean better than you know like PB3 or something...
Well it's always going to be better than PB3 because you can't waste your life away courting for trade deals and there's no tech brokering.

I think NH is underestimating the amount of optimism players (especially ones new to multiplayer) have for trying out tech trading games. But I do agree it's a waste of time to try to balance a set of rules that includes tech trading for strong play. In general, people who understand the game well enough to benefit from a balance mod will also understand that tech trading is awful.
