i was talking about the city CivFr razed. it has changed hands already several times, so there's no way it could have been autorazed.

Am I reading Civstats right that the Spanish let their capital starve as the turn rolled? Spite!

Are we sure that the city was actually razed? Just because it is not on the map does not mean it was razed. Cities have to be re-explored after being captured.

Chinook was razed because CivStats showed CivFr had a score increase, Boa a score decrease, and then CivFr a score decrease to its earlier score increase, all with the same timestamp. I haven't checked the in-game diplo screen, but that's pretty conclusive to me.

Perhaps they were pillaged or all their tiles are being covered by enemy units? Or maybe they are working max hammers to get out one final unit? Who knows?

Or whipping multiple units in the queue on the same turn. You can still dry whip a scout at size 2. Wonder if the Spanish know this... mischief

I don't think the Spanish team starved their city. The score loss isn't enough for losing a pop point - it's only -1. I guess it's some beladed adjustment of their land score.

We got new maps from them, though, and we now have vision of the following cities:

Apolyton: Gaziantep
CivFr: all cities but Gwin Gwen (!)
CivPlayers: Malinalco and Tamuin
CFC: all former Spanish cities (Bulawayo, KwaDukuza, Umgungundlovu, Nobamba)
Univers: Epsilum
