I would have liked to see more discussion of the city management in this thread over the goofing around in the Rant Thread, but the timer is about to run out. We needed to end our turn.
* Used the overflow in Focal Point for a spy (2t), which we'll need to run counterespionage missions come T170, in addition to potential military scouting.
* Sent the Great General towards Horse Feathers (will arrive next turn) and set the city to build a catapult, starting the cycle of 1t unit builds.
* Whipped the courthouse in Seven Tribes (3 pop) and reconfigured so that we dropped a coastal tile + plains farm + new grassland cottage.
* I couldn't whip a market in Simple Life in good faith because the market build is 59/150 production. We need one more shield to turn that into a 2 pop whip instead of a 3 pop whip. I've left Simple Life and The Covenant alone for now.
Our turn is done now; we have until CFC ends turn (whenever that might be) to make any last minute changes.

I think it's fine to whip Simple Life this turn - doesn't really matter if it's the courthouse or the market to me (the benefit will be pretty much the even, I think).
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

I don't see a need or benefit to whip them now when we can whip the market for 2-pop next turn when we actually have a citizen without a tile to work.

Sullla and others: Which cities do you think we should draft next turn for muskets? We could draft many of them, but that would be less pop to whip courthouses.

Definitely draft:
Starfall
French Riviera
Frozen Jungle
Let It Snow
Decent options:
Adventure One (will grow in 2t)
Gourmet Menu
Tree Huggers
Seven Tribes
Brick by Brick
Possible options, and good options later on:
Focal Point
Forbidden Fruit
Eastern Dealers
Cutting Edge
Definite drafts, but not next turn:
The Covenant
Ditchdigger
Simple Life
Catherine
Winter Wasteland
Do not draft:
Mansa's Muse
Horse Feathers

Edit: haha check this out:
Looks like CFC has their own problem with overly enthusiastic team members logging in.

They've had that chariot for quite some time.
Anyway, turn rolled:
Quote:C F C's Golden Age has begun!!!
Deal Canceled: Open Borders to Lizzy for Open Borders
Inao's Golden Age has ended...
You have discovered Gunpowder!
You have constructed a Courthouse in Seven Tribes. Work has now begun on a Market.
You have constructed a Courthouse in Brick By Brick. Work has now begun on a Library.
The borders of French Riviera have expanded!
You have trained a Work Boat in Catherine. Work has now begun on a Courthouse.
The borders of Denial of Nile have expanded!
Hunter's Golden Age has ended...
Huron River (WPC) has been captured by the Civforum.de!!!
Hinduism has spread in Beyaz Peynir.
Your War Chariot has withdrawn from combat with a Axeman!
Your Knight has destroyed a Axeman!
You have captured Wesselburen!!!
Your Knight has destroyed a firlefanzerheid!
Clearing a Forest has created 30 hammers for Mano y Mano.
Clearing a Forest has created 30 hammers for Let It Snow.
Clearing a Forest has created 16 hammers for Catherine.
Most things have already been covered. Apolyton cancelled OB with us, CFC started a golden age (but without revolting). CivFr's and Univers's golden ages have ended, so our demos should start to look better in comparison now, too.

My thoughts about drafting are to first draft cities that would draft away mediocre tiles and aren't producing anything particularly important.
I'd draft these cities this turn:
Starfall (duh)
French riviera (has 6 good tiles and has just hit size 7)
Frozen Jungle (junk city, has just hit size 6. Then we whip the courthouse when it hits size 6 again)
Gourmet Menu (drafts away a coast)
For the fifth draft, then probably Cutting Edge. Here we could do the same 8 to 9 draft cycle like we do at Brick by Brick, with the tile being drafted away the plains hill.

Germans played their turn quickly again. Here's what's going on.
They attacked out of Westheim with a spear and killed our isolated knight. They also attacked our small stack with the catapult, dying in the process. They also upgraded the quechua inside Westheim to a spear, so there is one spear inside the city and one redlined spear to the south. I think that we double-promote the 5.8 health knight, which should he it near to full, and then use that to kill the spear. Anything can mop up the redlined spear. Should be easy.
I roaded up to the German city to avoid any mistakes later, and moved our Sentry chariot up for vision. Unfortunately, the interface is glitching out and making it impossible to see exactly what's inside that city. (Does anyone know why this happens?) It looks like everything that we saw last turn is inside the city; we'll hit it with some catapults and then should mop it all up at high odds. The Germans have a good chance to survive one more turn, but it will be a huge bloodletting for them with minimal casualties for our side.
I'll look at the city micro side of things in more detail tomorrow. Expect to play the turn as a group at roughly 10pm EST tomorrow (after I do my ranked team League of Legends night), or in about 24 hours from this post. Tell WPC not to attack anything until after we play our turn.
