I suggest you start discussing settings with the current group, while understanding that you might get new people.

Seems that most settings are decided.

Am I correct that we prefer/are OK with:

* All civics and religion switching mission banned, except in case the target player agrees
* Emperor difficulty (reasoning behind it was that since we have experienced players advice difficulty should be less forgiving for educational purposes)
* Map - Plako's choice, with the following requests:
+ discouraging early wars (that we all have time to learn something )
+ reasonably balanced, but not mirrored

Yeah, it's where non-participants can see what is happening in the game from a very unique perspective. Participants do not look at the threads.

This game I assume is more interesting than normal for spoiler threads because of the team component, so I assume teammates will be discussing strategy in the threads.

@Yuufo, as Bowsling says, the spoilers thread - which title should start with [SPOILERS] and first post should not include anything sensitive - is a multipurpose:

* it is a turn-log, althought typically much looser than for ISDG, only periodic updates
* place to discuss things with your teammate and to get lurkers advice and/or comments. Here at RB many very experienced players are lurking (i.e. reading but not playing), and especially dedicated lurkers (dedlurker, which only read your thread) are allowed to give plenty of advice
* it is for educational purposes, both for players and posterity
* last but not least, it is for FUN :big grin:. Again, both for players and lurkers.

@Bowsling: you also should start your spoilers thread now.
