Spoilers on Muriel and comments on the setup:

Whoa, no-one guessed who I was or what I was doing!

Well. It's 100% RP. It looks like other players had the same idea, like Old Tom and Sir Percival. A setup that just hides our names won't do much in a small community like this, it wouldn't take longer than a few days to figure out who everyone is based on their post style and gameplay, just like you guys have done here. That would undermine the whole setup of the game. So I decided to roleplay whatever character I would get.. And I got Muriel! Well, I had to make Brick change the avatar because the original one I thought was a retarded woman, and I think roleplaying a retarded character crosses the line and would be offensive. I know I wouldn't feel good about it myself. Also it was a picture of a real life person, which wasn't very cool. Anyway, I thought what kind of a person this new "Muriel the Slow" would be, this woman with a beautiful name and sweet and innocent looks *cough*. Well.. you know the results. Self-righteous, demeaning, always gets her way, the world revolves around her, no fun allowed.. but when she does get her way, and everything goes according to plan, she'll be happy and you'll be happy that she's happy! Sadly it wasn't *quite* 100% RP, I broke character a few times, mainly being a bit too cheery on some of my short posts. It was especially hard trying to play a game that Muriel would play, instead of playing a game I would play. I tried my best to win in the context that I am Muriel and this is how I have to act. All that bad logic though? That was no RP, just me being a horribad player. It was a blast!

When the break happened, I was afraid that my RP had offended people. I sent a PM to Brick asking about this and I was ready to drop the act, but he said that no-one was offended by my RP. I hope this is still the case when the game ends! Anyway I think the setup was a cool idea, but it's kind of hard to actually play out. To really stay anonymous, everyone would have to be in character, but then there's the problem that the gameplay might become too reliant on luck when people are limited by their characters. Also I doubt we'd find many people who are actually willing to commit to roleplaying the entire game. So, interesting idea, hard to execute!

Oh, and I'm still not letting you know who I am. Someone will guess eventually. I'm actually surprised that no-one has guessed it. I feared that my identity would be really transparent when I had to drop the fancy writing style from the beginning. It just took too long to make posts like that. Someone actually called me out on that on Day 1, which was a good catch! Just wasn't correct because this is a Masquerade game, not a normal game :P

4. Muriel, you'll not win the 'most horrible villager ever' award, I'm sad to say. It was the saul-scry that did you in. However it seems you got some votes because people were getting fed up with your posting style, so that is a strike against you. This is a very bad argument, "I'm voting to lynch you because you annoy me" ...what happened to lycnhing wolves? Hope it will not get a villager killed.
