Don't argue with people like that, and don't type "9x report". Just report them after the game and move on without typing anything. Nothing good will ever result from getting into an argument, and you'll very possibly get reported by the other person.

You really would think that people could get it in their heads that losing your lane is not a reportable offence. But no, some people just can’t. Neither is arguing with them at all helpful. You just have to mute them, play as though they’re an AI, and report them.

Also, one thing you quickly learn in solo queue is that people will threaten to report you for the most ridiculous things. I remember a game not so long ago (I think I’d just hit 30 on EUW) where I was playing Teemo top and split-pushing the whole game. I had about twice as many minions as everyone else on the team, had taken the outer turret and was working away on the inner turret. At about the 30 minute mark, our 1/8 Karthus got caught in the jungle and died for the ninth time in that particular game. His response, of course, was “gg, report Teemo for not being with the team”. Rarely are these reports actually followed through, and you’d have to be very unlucky indeed to be banned as a consequence of any of these reports.

False reports do happen a lot, and so does false Tribunal punishments since it's the same people who judge the cases. Riot is very lenient in their punishments though, you'd have to get punished a dozen times to get permanently banned. The good side is that the people who don't deserve to be banned will only suffer from warnings and a few days of suspension at most, but the bad side is that the people who do deserve to be banned will take years to get banned.

I've found an interesting bug (at least i think it's a bug ):

Normally if you have 0 lp and you lose your next 2 games then if you were to lose your third one, you're gonna descend to the previous level of the current league. I accidentally found an interesting glitch...i still don't know what to call it:

If you happen to exhaust your 2 chances and on the third one you dodge(my computer likes to reset at odd moments for no reason) you get -10 lp(that is what it says where your lp used to be). Your next game ragardless win or loss will grant +10 lp so that you will once again be on 0 and (if you're really unlucky) if you happen to lose the next one, you will still be in your current league level at 0 lp(at the "no more losses or down yeh go" mark).
It's odd, it's funny, it saves time....i guess.

I haven't checked to see if this happens on NA as well as it does on EU NE tho'!

* Side note: i just duo'd with a friend who used the glitch and he went from -10 lp to +17 from a win:D (aka he got 27 lp for the win)

I know this will get a certain amount of sighs and head scratching, but if Vayne is popular why not pick Quinn or Teemo against her?

Because Quinn and Teemo are both substantially underpowered ADs. Picking them to ‘counter’ Vayne might work in lane (emphasis on might) but will hurt your team because come the teamfighting phase, you won’t have an effective AD carry. (This applies to Teemo more than Quinn, but Quinn isn’t really a botlane AD carry anyway… she’s much more effective mid or top, from where she can roam and gank.)

I'm struggling to see how Trist counters Vayne, too. Trist has very similar power spikes to Vayne: Trist perhaps has slightly better levels 1-5, but Vayne gets her big power spike much earlier than Trist (with ult and BotRK), and they have very similar levels of late-game power. Perhaps with her rocket jump and ult to disengage in the case of a 1v1 duel? But then you can say that about any AD carry with any sort of escape/disengage tool (Corki, Caitlyn, Ezreal, Graves)
