It's turn 187, 13 turns left on the NAP with Gillette. They're teching Physics and they lack Gunpowder, Banking, Nationalism, Music, and Theology. They do have a great scientist incoming and 1505 gold in the bank.
I have to run.

This reminded me to check our emails. Nothing from Gillette and sure we should be stalling, even if our intentions are obvious after T188.

Physics feels a mistake here. It is 5000 beakers and even if you count the Scientist it is still 3000 beakers that they could have placed towards vital war techs. My guess is that they try to get Grenadiers and Cannons in the field before T200. Scientists helps there assuming they can bulb towards Chemistry. Gives them also Figates and Ship of the Lines. Last ones could be quite problematic to us.

Will you play, Plako? If not, I can make time tonight.
If you know what I mean.

Just FYI you can whip the infrastructure and get the OR bonus on turn of revolt, just do it before firing the GA and doing the civic switches. As an extra bonus, you get more overflow from the infra whips because when the overflow is calculated, you are no longer in OR, so the OR bonus is not divided out from the overflow.

I never knew that...but then I didn't realize stacked whip and draft anger decay independently until very recently.

With Kremlin 2 pop whips are so easy to arrange that I haven't bothered to do much micro management concerning it.
Couple of reminders for me or anyone playing:
* Send Galleons to pick Workers from the islands. After chopping the forests they should return.
* Starts Frigates after Chemistry in coastal cities
* Don't use settler for a city we'll need it after the war starts

You are an abysmal failure, darrell.
