* W1-11 Round Robin, W12-13 randomly generated regular season games, W14-16 8 team playoff.
Can we give the "home team" (i.e., the team with the higher seed) a small edge, like +5pts, in the playoffs?
Yep, can do. I kinda like the idea too.

I like the round robin + random set-up but I vote against higher seeds getting more of an advantage than playing a lower seed.

Perhaps weeks 12-13 shouldn't be random, but should be seeded too. That way top teams get another advantage from having the better records.
Also, with the 2week finals, is that possible in a pay version of the game? How much does that cost?

I'm not a fan of seeded advantage really.
Also, I do prefer the 3 WR format we used to use over the flex (12 team league could mean some real hogging or desperation for RBs) but I'm just one voice on this

What's the point of seeds again?

That means that in the playoffs there's an actual advantage to being the 1-seed (eg., 9-2-1) instead of being the 8-seed (e.g., 5-8) - I'm a little concerned that if there's no advantage for having a great record, people on Week 9 will start setting themselves up for the playoffs, and not worrying at all about the last 3-4 of the season.

What exactly would you do differently to "set yourself up for the playoffs"?

Trade based on injuries, mostly.

I got my schedule confirmed today and I am indeed working the night of the 31st. I think rather than screw things up with an autopicked team I'll just drop out and let someone else come in who can make the draft.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Would it be unworkable for someone else to move it to Sunday night? I guess you could play with me, Gaspar.
