NH's Riifling ETA was t181, and KJN found a way to get it down to t180. Given the amount of population going to units saying something like t182 +/- a turn is reasonable.

No, kjn made some comments on how we might drop it down to t180. There is no concrete certainty that we'll be able to do that.
Anyway, I've told scooter that our Rifling ETA would be eot181 if UCiv lends us all their gold.

Okay. I took a liberty here with Apolyton. I decided to go with novice's original draft. I know two people felt iffy about the phrase about the leaders, but there was not a consensus against it, so I went with it. Someone said they thought they'd be mildly offended by receiving this. I think that's actually kind of crazy, because if I started a dogpile on someone and received this message, my reaction would be "huh, that was a lot nicer than I expected." I know because I have organized dogpiles on people before and received much worse than that  . So I sent novice's draft with a cosmetic edit or two.

It seems like the best we can do right now is hold on for a bumpy ride. Kudos for our efforts outgoing up until now, I just see little else happening for the nonce.

I wouldn't post this with regards to this particular war. Things are much more evenly balanced (tech lead v production power) than they were last time.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.
