The walls will only help the pike, unless you plan on moving more units into Mano

The mace too. Open to different suggestions there of course, but the walls do make some sense in forcing them to use Rifles IMO.

Oh, one more thing I didn't mention. It is possible they have Cuirs in the fog that could hit Mano, though I don't think it's super likely. We could retreat the spy into our lands so that it's safe, or we could move into Costalot for extra vision, but risk losing him. I tend to think we should retreat him, but it's worth discussing.

Yeah I am a very anti-wall guy but it seems like probably the best choice in this case. We could do a unit that we'd whip next turn if we hold the city.

The current force facing Mano has 5 killers, 2 of them HA vs our WE/Pike. If we add the mace and WE to the 4 units already there we'll have 6. Better I think to get a unit next turn than walls this turn.

Sure, but three cats is a lot against such a small number of medieval units. We should probably sim it.

Do we have enough EP/spys to run counter espionage again CP/Poly? If not now, should we make this a priority after rifling?

We don't have nearly enough EPs, no.

Results of the Mano sim.

*Assume B1 on CP's cats*

W/O walls: After throwing all 3 cats the highest odds I got for CP was ~45% combined win/withdraw on the HA, 20% for pike/axe. Throwing the whole CP stack in usually killed 1 mace and 2 WE by throwing everything. Surviving units are all redlined.

With walls: After 3 cats CP gets about 35% combined win/withdraw from the HA, 10% for pike/axe. Throwing in the whole CP stack usually killed our mace and pike. WE always survived with ~3-4/8 STR.

In either case, CP loses the whole stack and so should not attack (unless there are 1-movers in the fog). Walls are wasted if the city is going to get killed anyway next turn.
