Well clearly all cities need two defenders from now on.

Lurker quiz: I microed this city to complete its knight this turn. How?
I have to run.

Changed two farms to plains tiles and maybe (don't know how many hammers you need total) the 4F tile to a plains tile. You would have no food surplus (assuming you also switched the 4F tile) and have 22.5 total production (don't remember how the code rounds that number).

The knight was at 33/60.

I didn't need the knight that desperately. I got it without running a food deficit and without rushing it.
I guess I'll hold off a bit on my turn report so I don't spoil the quiz. The spoiler below holds the essential part of the solution.
I have to run.

Bonus hammers from GA would bring base hammers up to 22 so you wouldn't need to micro anything.

Correct. By completing the Taj Mahal in my third city, all cities after that in my F1 list got the golden age bonus hammers this turn. So the picture I showed you was the city after I had microed it to complete the knight. Here's the city after eot:
But that wasn't the only interesting thing to happen on this very eventful turn 125 of PBEM49. You've already seen Zak's well-executed but unfairly rewarded NAP-stab. I forgive him though, I've always wanted to use that trick myself. (Well, after Commodore showcased it, at least.) As for me, I used my GG for a more mundane set of four 10XP knights.
I'll continue the turn report later.
I have to run.

Or you could have just whipped the knight of course.
