Why were you guys so eager to take control from Sulla when you know you can't put as much time into the game? Only Noble is trying to hold the fort...

Are we watching the same game?
Or is this just frustrated spouting because RB isn't doing well?

who was eager to take things from Sulla? only Sulla, I think.
I think part of it is tht people are depressedthe war isn't going well. but a bigger part is that there is no reporting, sulla did a heroic job w/ that. Noble probably doesnt have the time, we need someone that can volunteer just to log in after noble plays and do a writeup.
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

Sulla was out because he didn't want to get nitpicked on each and every minor decision. Not that I support his notion, but you can only nitpick, if something is reported...

Spot on, everyone knows how good a job he does, I think he had to ask three times before anyone volunteered to take over because of how hard those shoes are to fill.
Unfortunately nit-picking is unavoidable if you're playing the game at the level of the best players on this site.

Well if you go and talk about every little thing, you end up with 2-3 hour long streams. Its quite utilitarian reasoning really if you have a to do. Only leave the big things up for discussion or you end up risking Parkinson's Law of Triviality with regards to time or you get bogged down in decisions who ultimate effect is negligible.
Quote:In the third chapter, "High Finance, or the Point of Vanishing Interest", Parkinson writes about a finance committee meeting with a three-item agenda.
The first is the signing of a £10 [3] million contract to build a reactor, the second a proposal to build a £350 bicycle shed for the clerical staff, and the third proposes £21 a year to supply refreshments for the Joint Welfare Committee.
The £10 million number is too big and too technical, and it passes in two minutes and a half.
The bicycle shed is a subject understood by the board, and the amount within their life experience, so committee member Mr. Softleigh says that an aluminium roof is too expensive and they should use asbestos. Mr. Holdfast wants galvanized iron. Mr. Daring questions the need for the shed at all. Mr. Holdfast disagrees.
Parkinson then writes: "The debate is fairly launched. A sum of £350 is well within everybody's comprehension. Everyone can visualize a bicycle shed. Discussion goes on, therefore, for forty-five minutes, with the possible result of saving some £50. Members at length sit back with a feeling of accomplishment."
Parkinson then described the third agenda item, writing: "There may be members of the committee who might fail to distinguish between asbestos and galvanized iron, but every man there knows about coffee – what it is, how it should be made, where it should be bought – and whether indeed it should be bought at all. This item on the agenda will occupy the members for an hour and a quarter, and they will end by asking the Secretary to procure further information, leaving the matter to be decided at the next meeting."[4]
In Soviet Russia, Civilization Micros You!
"Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must."
“I have never understood why it is "greed" to want to keep the money you have earned but not greed to want to take somebody else's money.”

Sullla asked to be replaced repeatedly, which I can understand. The volunteered solution was Noble/Sunrise together. Unfortunately sunrise disappeared, and Noble doesn't report anything. So here we are.
