This makes me want to just withdraw all of our units from the west and slam them into CFC. Really? Pillaging a road? Fucking asshats. It's always the same with them. If it isn't prohibited by a game mechanic, it won't cause a war and isn't a violation of the sacrosanct bullshit NAP.

Again with the pillaging in neutral territory? Fuck you guys. Go die in a fire.

UniversCiv has gifted us the 700gold.
Noble, try to get Rifling done this turn.

They pillaged a neutral road? Okay.
Draft to CFC Wrote:We see you've taken again to pillaging our stuff despite our NAP, and despite telling us the first time, and the second time, that you'd stop. You got away with it earlier, but now you'll note that we have nothing left to lose, and will be acting accordingly. I hope delaying those two muskets was worth it. Good day, sirs.
We then proceed to empty all our cities and slow down CFC as much as possible. We could even decline to spite-whip cities we're losing to Poly and CP (though we'd still whip out as many units for CFC as possible, of course). Let's also allow workers to be captured by Poly and CP rather than delete them.
If we can derive any advantage whatsoever to declaring on them this turn (and maybe even if we can't, though we might lose trade route income), I'd say go for it.

Neutral in what sense of the word? This behavior is totally non-neutral. Those units may not matter to you, but they're now isolated and will die, rather than being able to reinforce somewhere else. Game changing? No. Petty and super annoying? Absolutely. Fuck those guys. It's the constant violation of the spirit of the agreement, time and time again, that really irks me.
I'm fine throwing everything at them and letting the others take cities as they can, just as long as we can pull a maximum holding action until we can mass whip/draft rifles.
Speaking of drafting, what civics is CFC currently in? Religion/civic swap incoming in 3....2....1......

Is it possible? Whatever we have to do it would probably be worth it. I'd only hold off spite whipping our cities that are about to die if it impacts our ability to finish rifling this turn.

I haven't given input lately because I'm afk pretty much all the time lately. Sorry the timing was super bad, I wish I could contribute for real.
My vote is, send the Zargon draft, and throw everything at CFC. I've never thrown a game before, but CFC has earned this result: do whatever we can to keep them from winning.
Yes rifling this turn, for sure. (pending Univers gift, ofc)

You know what, tell poly to go north and we'll use the time to beat up CFC because they violated the spirit of our agreement on too many times and last turn was the final straw.
Unless we have a chance of winning. Surviving would be the best revenge I guess.
Actually, just request every item on their diplo screen individually.

Say, we get Rifling next turn.
What will happen if we whip a Musket to completion this turn?
Will we get the Musket or will it convert to a Rifling and only complete if the whip hammers were enough to finish the Rifle?

Rifling will come next turn. Shuffled around few tiles, sacrificing growth and production for research points. It will be tight and we will have to double check after each draft/whip we want to do this turn.
Eastern Dealers will most likely fall on T176 to knights. Which is the turn our Great Person gets born there. Sucks to have the second half of the turn in this case. We cannot get enough troops into Eastern Dealers to present a serious defense to delay the fall by one turn. Unless we whip and draft Eastern Dealers itself, which then does delay the Great Person to at least T177.
Unfortunately we have not spotted that dilemma earlier. So I suggest to give up on the Great Person right now and pour Eastern Dealers resources into killing knights.
Offered Spices for Wine from UniverCiv. I know they were reluctant to officially show they support us, but everyone has figured that out by now.
And the extra Happiness will benefit both Civs.
In response to CFC's continuous bending of the NAP contract we will respond by cancelling the resource gifts (Stone and Spices).
First of all, this lets us get our stone back. Ok, only for one turn most likely, as we will probably lose the stone after Starfall falls next turn, but hey. Might help dry-whipping a couple of walls to delay CFC knights. Just an idea.
The loss of spices might hurt them just a little one turn earlier as they planned for. Everything helps.
Here is the important bit. We cannot allow the borders to get closed as we need the trade route income this turn for Rifling. So we will cancel those deals and whip the walls just before we end turn, to not allow CFC to call the whole contract void and cancel Open Borders this turn.
Can someone please confirm/test that we can cancel the resource gifts without the open borders getting cancelled as well? Not sure they were in the same deal or whether this is how the deal cancellation works in the first place. (i.e. did we offer stone and spices together with open borders as part of one deal? And if so, can we separately cancel the resource gifts?)
In Starfall we are going to make their attempt to take the city on T175 as bloody as possible by adding another musket and walls.
Then we will have 6 muskets at (25,25,25,15,10,0% fortify) behind 50% walls and 60% culture. Plus an axe and the scouting war chariot (which can only make it to Starfall this turn).
They will face up to 16 Combat 2 and Combat 1 knights. What kind of odds do they get then?
Which actually might be scary enough for CFC to wait for their cannons.
In which case we might be able to whip one last Rifle in Starfall for a heroic last stand. (Cannot draft, after this turns draft and whip.)
