Well, the reason could be a number of things. It could be related to your login, or it could be related to someone else's login. It could be related to the Pitboss itself, if for instance the Pitboss did a write error in one of the savegames. At this point, I think it's safe to say that noone is to blame, and that we have no idea what the cause was.
Making sure that any mods are unloaded before logging in is just a sensible precaution. Right now I don't know if it can affect the game. Custom assets probably will affect it though, and mods usually use custom assets.

Well, I guess if noone to blame, we can alwayas use your team name. (Its a joke, thanks for hosting this game)
Is other software running at the same time could cause it? Like ICQ client, torrent client, firefox etc?

Great to see the game back up and running. I lost quite a bit of work, with all the signs I placed down. Sigh.

PB15, a game that is run using a mod, was perfectly stable during this problematic time in PB14. I am a long way from convinced that this is a systematic problem on Caledorn's part. What is more likely is that someone did something unintentional that caused an instability in the specific PB instance that Caledorn was running that ran the PB14 game, as Caledorn runs his pitboss machine in such a way that every PB game is isolated from every other. Unless the entire system goes down one PB game should not affect any of the others (AFAIK anyway).

Are you kidding? Of course it was Caledorn's fault! Just like us falling behind EggHeads in thread views is obviously Caledorn's fault. He was probably behind that spammer in our subforum earlier today, too!

I am going to assume that using Blue marble doesn't cause the problem, since I am using it on other games without any effect.

Does someone mind pausing the game if they get a chance? There's a possibility that neither Aivoturso or I gets to play the turn in the next four hours, which would suck.
