Just as an FYI, I have a dentist appointment today, and that means I have been drugged pretty heavily as I have severe odontophobia. If the games go down for any reason I will not ne able to remedy the problem until tonight CEST.
As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master. - Commissioner Pravin Lal, "U.N. Declaration of Rights"

This should be the last warning for missing turns. No more pauses unless you warn early that there willbe problems and no one will be able to make it in time.

Hey, everyone. Recently team Master and Margarita lost its Master, so there's only Margarita remaining (slaze left the team and Maga is playing alone right now). Considering the spirit behind this game, I thought it'd be bad if one of the teams, that lost the veteran player so early, had to play with only the new player. So I volunteered to ded-lurk Maga's team and help a bit.
Things is, I'm already spoiled for the game. I have seen starts from the teams and I've sparsely read some of the threads here, though never with that much attention. The team that I read the most about is Team Care Bears, while I tried to train my poor french a bit (that means that I didn't understand most of what was written).
I know this is far from the proper way to do things, but I wonder if the other teams would let me ded-lurk Maga from now on, maybe with the compromise that for the next 50/100/all the remaining turns, I refrain from commenting on anything that is not "domestical issues" (i.e. only help with micro and where to settle, what to build, etc. - don't say anything about what the other teams may be up to, don't help with diplomacy or C&D). I'm sure plako would keep a watchful eye to see if I'm following these guidelines or not.
Of course, if any of the teams have a problem with this, just speak up and I won't do it. For now I'm holding back on comments I could give to Maga, while I wait for people to chime in.

Here's my take on this:
I'm fine with you joining in with Team M&M, BUT I would ask that up to turn, say, 80, you refrain from participating/commenting on any non-domestic moves, including scout/unit moves. On turn 80 and beyond, you're free to participate any way you wish. I imagine this gives enough time to possibly "forget" some of the stuff you might have read.
Team CareBears should obviously have their opinion weighted more on this, though it seems like they're fine with this.

Thanks Ichabod for stepping in: a full-diplo game is time consuming and everyone benefits if teams are able to play at their best. RE: details - to keep things simple, I suggest you chat things out with Plako and post the result here. Teams can PM concerns to Plako and so avoid the perception of diplomacy in the tech thread.
