Realms Beyond Fantasy Football 2013-14 - Time to beat the Brit

What on earth was that flaming hot mess of a game?

Gronkowski is the relevant piece - Amendola is just a souped up version of Edelman. There's only so much you can do with no outside or deep threats of consequence. Gronk at least puts stretching the field in play.

The problem is that even when he returns, he's always just a second away from his next injury.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

He made 10 catches for 104 yards game 1. Even if he did half of that because not the Bills defense, that is way better than anything Thompkins or Dobson did.

Yeah, in a fantasy context, Amandola'll be quite valuable. I meant more in a Patriots having any chance of sustained success context.

I think that he is quite valuable in real life success-wise. The problem in the Jets game wasn't getting open, after all, but Dobson and Thompkins just dropped passes that would have made the game a breeze. Someone like an Amendola or a Gronk is a lot less likely to do that.

Have any of you guys watched 'The League'?

Only just been shown it by a Canadian friend of mine and its hilarious - makes me imagine what our league would end up like if we were all nearby!

I've watched all of it up to the current season. I think it's great, though 8 team leagues are terrible.
