What's painful to watch is that I don't think Nakor actually knows he's at war yet. He could get his archer built this turn if he noticed the war dec, and possibly save his city for a little while.

Scootinator played after Nakor. Changing build / whipping would not be OK this turn from my understanding. Next turn it's too late.

What I'm incredibly puzzled about is how scootinator seemed to just assume that Nakorfool would not see the galley the turn after it was produced. I'm less surprised that Nakorfool didn't see it or react to it, but to base a plan like that on your opponent not seeing the unit which you are producing in plain view seems really risky to me.

Didn't they move the galley out of the FOV of Nakor

Well they first had to build it in a city which Nakor has vision on. And they are moving after Nakor so he definitely had a turn to see it.

They waited for Nator to end his turn and logout, then they logged in and the galley was built and moved. Or do I misunderstand how it works?

They could have done that but then they'd be in the first half of the turn split. They wanted to be in the second half to be able to declare war, and then attack the city the following turn without Nakor being able to change production/whip.

Ah, another annoying feature of Pitboss.

Looks like the dice saved Nakor, though - twice now, in fact. I hope he doesn't start to rely on these 10% shots...but it should make the western continent more competitive, at least.

It looks like he's going to start producing more military now, maybe he'll stick with it.

Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon

Wow, that battle TBS just had with dtay should count as some sort of massacre. What will be left of TBS in 5 turns??
