of note, I see no cavalry in the background, so he either got everyone killed attacking or retreated. probably he realized he couldnt take the capital and retreated.

I'll offer him peace for just my 2 cities, no reparations.

ok where was I? it gets confusing now updating every turn

krill asked me for 40 GPT. I turned it down, but then decided to give him 25 gpt to help him out. I also accepted his open borders deal. so we are friends now, I guess. he also a turn later asked for 50 gold, which i gave him, and then he gave me his great general galleon! lol. once I upgrade that to a transport and get it around to the 2 metra border it could be quite useful.




past few turns I have managed to take out 1 stack of units of his a turn. for 244 it was this stack of cavalry trying to retreat from the aborted assault on the capital to his main stack. he should have got them onto a galleon(s).


creative rail work with my new workers allowed me to get the cannons in place


me and cornflakes were on the same turn schedule so this happenned while I logged in. Krill is having fun, I guess, switching from war w/ me to war with Cornflakes, but I couldnt reach this city, cut off from his rest, so he was probably better off fighting me. less boring this way though.




this is why im not worried. I have 0 war weariness in all cities, since I made peace w/ Krill and all the 2 metra battles have been in my culture. I actually did the spy mission that creates unhappiness here just to pile on, lol.

I could have retaken the cities in 244 but was paranoid about reinforcements coming in from the galleons and razing business cat this time, so I held off a turn.

there is no benefit to me accepting this, he still had my cities as well.


looks like he evacuated both, though. unfortunately for him, the troops in good guy greg were landlocked and he couldnt get them on a galleon. this is my 245 slaughter it was pretty easy at this point, actually, took out 7 units and only lost 1 cannons and 1 muskateer.


recovered. lots of buildings to rebuild I probably will rebuild maoi somewhere else, I never liked it here.


this one will be even harder, it doesnt have the hammers business cat does.


i wanted to hit that stack while I still could, but most of my units were injured, and he had machine guns and infantry :/

uh, what? no. I didn't counter, I don't think we are on the same page. his MFG is destroyed due to the unhappy, I can keep building an army while he can't. and I don't have war weariness. im fine with this war going on indefinitely, even if I will have trouble making progress before I have bombers.


I thought about it, but declined. assembly line is not urgent (cornflakes did build pentagon, so thats off the table) and basically just takes 2.5 turns off 100% eps into 2metra to steal (so about 4-4.5 turns, including saving up the cash). thats with 2metra running counter espionage, too, since I play first I can catch him after it wears off to get it even cheaper (although i don't remember him doing it so Im not sure what turn that will be). I could have actually taken a 34% shot w/ a 50% discount spy this turn, but I didn't want to lose visibility on 2metra.



krill is being goofy. he won't take any cities from Jowy either, although he could take back the city I gave jowy if he wished - jowy doesnt defend that one much. the gg galleon was certainly worth 250 gold, though, glad I helped him out


ok look at soldiers. I am producing military everywhere, and cornflakes is still staying ahead of me. that isn't too shocking, he is the #2 MFG and drafting infantry every turn - his military strategy over the past 40 turns or so has been to stay just ahead of me (when i stop building up, he stops, he picks up again when I pick up).

im thinking of offering to trade him cities - I need google and bass so I can hit 2 metra from both sides. the only I could give him is the super city I took from AT, that is producing about 90 culture per turn, im not sure I want to give it up . but that would allow me to blitz through 2 metra, and him to blitz into krill, and then jowy if he wanted, preventing a cold war and allowing us to turn this into a 2 man race instead of a cold war until spaceship scenario .
still thinking about it. maybe ill try to buy the cities from him with tech and cash after I steal assembly line from 2 metra.


2 metra is retreating to the east, he must have realized Tillis is not in danger while cornflakes blocks the way.





oh, it was 40 gold, not 50. so thats 25gpt plus this I have given Krill for no reason really, lol. I hope it helps him hold off cornflakes. I should probably just give him physics??? only me and commodore have physics atm.

2metra seems to not be in touch with the reality of our situation in our current war. he again demanded tech for peace.

I was expecting that at some point. I had to steal a farm from success kid to avoid starvation, but otherwise not a huge deal. I have business cat loaded with units so he can't try anything. I bombed all the frigates with my airships, but I can't bring them lower than 6.4 . I do have ironclads in transit, and my navy from the krill front once I can rebuild a fort I farmed over. I have firm control over the skies and the ground - once I can build a navy large enough to control the seas, he'll be screwed. I'm not in a hurry though, still not really affected by the war.


he is building one ironclad - but his mfg isn't much, so its slow. im building several in different cities, and at a much quicker pace.

I took 3 shots at 34% to steal assembly line from him. all failed

ok, so 4 spies left, but losing them rapidly, so i started building more spies, and sent a stack of 7 that were waiting on the cornflakes border towards Bespin. I shouldnt need them for awhile against cornflakes, and railroads, etc.



cornflakes might be slacking on the power front, it will be nice if I can take over #1 there

im first but nothing is ready yet. If you are talking about the one in business cat, it takes 2 turns. but I also have a couple slowly coming from the east, and I'm pumping them out of the capital. the tile that says "fort" is 2 turns away from finishing the fort .

I probably will be able to pick off a couple before he retreats the rest of the navy. ironclads are painfully slow, so it won't really get interesting until 2 metra researches combustion and I steal it from him.
