Met someone else! This kind of food-free island leads to India, TBS/Jowy.


They are *very* special good friends with the Vikings already, giving them war elephants in trade for the Colossus. Even more, they gave Hinduism to our horny-helmed buddies. It's a love match.


Ah well. We might not be favored in religion spreads or whatever, but we can console ourselves with pretty metals. Baffin's silver mine is online and now roaded, curing the two unhappy faces I grew into this turn in anticipation.


Expansion is still needed; with Baffin and soon Ellesmere providing +2g trade routes everywhere, no reason at all to stop. Slightly painful configuration here nets a 2t settler out of the capital with the chop coming in. It'll be going on up to Edmonton, to join with a lovely work boat and grow at a nice brisk clip. The capital is officially past the whipping stage now; and yes, I know, tragic lack of cottages. Addressing that next!


The slight bump of that pushes my MFG to #1! It's pretty honest; the capital moves back to a more normal configuration, but the next copper mine comes online. I know Canada is a breadbasket now, but this is a pretty good approximation of Canada's stereotype: Dat MFG!

I was feeling fairly good about my tech pace, and then I saw that Lewwyn is up Currency and even what comes after it. Honestly, what scares me about this image is less the Confucianism, more all those cottages. Smart Lewwyn has shown up this game, ladies and gentlemen.


Sad as my cottage sitch is, though, I do love me some capital hammers. Effortlessly two-turned settler? Check! I'm actually good enough on hammers that I think I'll cottage that last grass hill there. So eight more pop directly, as quickly as we can swing the happy...let's grow all the villages, eh?
